*Kane's POV*

Kasey didn't like the tour bus. She wasn't a fan of the bumps in the road or the swaying as we drove. Sawyer was usually the one who got up with her, insisting that I sleep since I had to play at the show whenever we stopped. It had come down to Sawyer looking at flying home. I didn't like the idea of her flying home alone with our nearly three month old daughter. I wouldn't have even liked the idea of her flying home alone if we didn't have Kasey.

I had talked to Jason about it since I had agreed to come on tour with him. He understood, having gone through the same thing with all three of his kids and most recently his son Memphis. He made arrangements for us to stay in hotel rooms for the rest of the tour, using the excuse that the tour buses were making him feel sick and he couldn't believe the baby would be feeling any better than he was.

Every hotel we came to made the tour easier. Sawyer and I would make a large pillow barrier around Kasey before climbing into the other bed and sleeping. It also helped Sawyer rest easier because we could switch off who would handle Kasey in the middle of the night.

We had come to our last outdoor venue for the year as the seasons were changing. Sawyer and I had just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, Jason babysitting so we could go to dinner reservations only to come rushing back after an hour and a half because we missed Kasey. We still had a great anniversary.

It was unusually warm for the end of October, and we had to scrap the wardrobe ideas. I preformed in a tank-top, pants, and boots with my cap on. I had no complaints about the weather. It was beautiful and the crowd was cheering and singing along to all of our songs. Jason had needed extra time for his closing performance, something had gone wrong, and I was thrown up onto the stage with my band to perform a few songs.

We were just getting through the last chorus of 'Lose It' when I saw Sawyer back stage, attempting to calm Kasey, who was crying. Before going into the next song, I ran off and over to them. Sawyer had taken off the baby carrier, having it hurt her back if she wore it for too long. I picked it up, strapping it on, helping her buckle Kasey into it.

I rocked her from side to side as I walked back on stage, she seemed to calm down slightly. The crowd echoed with loud 'awws' as phones came up to take pictures. I laughed as I brought the microphone up to speak.

"Sorry 'bout that. She wanted dad an' mom deserves the break." I said and looked back at Sawyer, "Hey, baby, why don't you come out here too. Can I get a stool an' some water?" I asked looking off stage.

Sawyer came out and I kissed her forehead. A stagecrew member brought a wooden stool up and placed it in a shaded spot of the stage. He also handed Sawyer a water bottle as she took a seat. Everyone yelled their support and greetings as more pictures were taken. I laughed, loving the support.

"Alright. What'd'ya say to finishing my set with 'There Goes My Everything', just for the two special girls in my life?" I said into the microphone.

My fans were in full support as my band started up into the song. Sawyer blushed and Kasey cooed as she and I moved around the stage. My wife laughed at my ridiculous dancing with our daughter strapped to my chest, secure in her baby carrier. This was my life now. An' I loved it.
