*Kane's POV*

I sat in wardrobe, scrolling through my phone as I waited for Sawyer to finish up and join me on the couch. Down the hall I could hear the talk show host's voice as taped the segment that would air before our interview. Our honeymoon had ended and our managers both agreed that a combined interview would be great for both of our careers.

I locked my phone, slipping it into my jacket pocket as Sawyer came in. Greeting her, I smiled as she walked over, sitting on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her waist, lacing my fingers together and planting a kiss on her cheek. I closed my eyes as she ran her fingers through my hair. It'd been a weak point of mine that she'd found.

Just as my shoulders were beginning to relax and I was half asleep, one of the stage hands knocked on the door frame and asked us to follow him. Almost as soon as we took our seats on the stools on set, they began recording.

"Hello to all our viewers out there! We have newlyweds Kane and Sawyer Brown here and this is the place to be if you want the first inside scoop about their married life. It's so nice to have you two on today." The hostess smiled

"We're glad to be here." I said

"So if I'm not mistaken, this is the first interview that you two are doing since the wedding and honeymoon, correct?" She asked

Sawyer nodded, "Yeah." I smiled holding Sawyer's hand

"So let's talk about the wedding for a minute. How'd that go? Were either of you nervous? -" She started

"Definitely!" Sawyer said and I nodded. "Right before walking down the aisle, the last thing I told my dad was something about 'please don't let me trip'. But thankfully I didn't."

The hostess laughed, "That's good to hear. Wouldn't want any hiccups."

Sawyer and I looked at each other with a knowing glance.

"Uh-oh. That didn't look good." The hostess said

"There was an issue at the reception. The playlist we had made, the audio wasn't playin'. They tried everything, changin' out the chords, tryin' different speakers. We ended up movin' the weddin' party table off the stage and throwin' some speakers up there." I explained

"Yeah. They lifted the whole table an' rearranged everything. Two of his band members went an' found a drum set in the back storage room of the venue for when wedding's have bands and, thankfully, we had invited other musicians to the wedding who really came to help rearrange everything an' then sang for us." Sawyer explained

"Oh!" The hostess expressed her surprise. "So let's talk about the honeymoon. You didn't take a traditional honeymoon."

"No. We went an' finished up furniture shoppin' and our little wedding party came back to the house to help us move in." Sawyer explained

"Her and the girls flew threw the weddin' presents and tellin' the delivery workers where things would go. The boys an' I handled hookin' up the washer and dryer an' handled the garage." I said, "It was mostly all her."

"So was there anything else you two did to enjoy your honeymoon?" the hostess asked

"My dad came up and stole Kane for the day a couple days after the wedding." Sawyer said

"Oh really? What for?" The hostess pressed

"We went walkin' around his farmhouse talkin' about the farm an' how he wants to keep it in the family. We talked about hirin' in some extra help within the next few weeks to help him with harvesting. An' I'm already plannin' on being out there with them for a few days to try helpin' an' see how he likes things done." I explained

"Sounds like some good quality time with your new father-in-law." the hostess said.

"We also took a trip up to some hiking trails an' Sawyer took some really great pictures that we're gonna hang around the house." I squeezed Sawyer's hand

"A question towards Sawyer, how's it feel now that you've been Mrs. Kane Brown for a few weeks." the hostess asked

"It's been different writing my new last name, but it's a change that I'm still tryin' to wrap my head around." Sawyer answered

*Sawyer's POV*

"Alright well we have a little game for you two to play." the hostess handed us both a white board and markers. "It's the newlywed game where we're going to ask a series of questions and you have to answer using either one of your names." the hostess explained.

"Oh!" Kane clapped his hands, smile growing as he pulled his leg up to balance his board on.

"I swear, if you put down that I snore..." I shook my head

"First question! Who has more shoes?" the hostess asked

We jotted down our answers and then showed them to her. I had answered 'Kane' and he had written down 'me'. We laughed as we agreed and erased our boards.

"A little tougher one. Who takes longer getting ready?" the hostess said

"Wait. At shoots and interviews or at home?" I asked

"Is there a difference?" the hostess laughed

"With this one, yes!" I laughed pointing at Kane

"What? Really?!" the hostess laughed "Ok, at home."

We laughed as we jotted down our answers. Again, they were the same as before. The hostess laughed and looked at Kane as I nodded in agreement.

"What in the world do you do that takes so long?" the hostess asked

"Well after you get outta the shower, you know you gotta wrap your hair up in your towel an' sit there to moisturize." Kane flicked his hand out, making both of us laugh.

"Who is the peacemaker when you two fight?" the hostess asked

We sat for a minute and looked at one another. I bit my lip and shook my head, looking at the ground. Kane didn't seem to have an answer either. We both shook our heads and looked at the hostess.

"We normally both go cool off an' talk later that or it's over somethin' small an' we'll have moved on after an' hour." Kane said and I nodded.

"Well there you have it. And that's all the time we really have for today. Thank you again to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kane and Sawyer Brown. We hope you enjoyed our little game." the hostess closed out.
