Every night, he heard her. Her songs relaxed him. Sitting in the sand, watching her control the water from the spring. He wanted this to last. Loved every minute of it, especially her humming. She would always stand in the soothing water. The white dress and the ribbon waist belt she had made her look gracefully. The water was always floating around her and she felt safe around it.
"Link, shall we go?" She asked.
"Now? You never want to leave early." He responded.
"Yes, I know." She chuckled. "I'm just..tired and sleepy."
"Alright, let's go--"
"Actually..I can do it one more last time." She said.
As she danced for now, she stopped minutes later and sat next to him. Sleeping on his shoulder, he smiled softly. He placed her on his back and walked to his house. They both lived together since they didn't have a family. He laid her down on the bed and covered her up with a blanket. "Good night.."
He was her hero and she was his dancing queen.
