Update Schedule Explanation

Let's talk update schedules.

Wonders, you know me by now. I like to be nice and regular with my updates, and I like to be organised (or appear to be), and I need to figure out exactly what's happening now that there are three regularly updating books at once.

I think I have a solution to this, however, so stick with me a little and things will make a little more sense. There are actually more books than those three which are technically unfinished, and we'll go over that as well when we get to it. Don't worry. I kind of know what I'm doing, and soon you will understand what the plan is as well.

We will start with the irregular books, because they are the most simple to explain and list. We have:

-Little Things (interactive)
-Taekook Analysis
-I Complain Too Much (this book, as you may realise lol)

So why are these irregular? Why have I made that decision? For Little Things, I'm simply unable to write ahead like with other books because it's interactive. If I tried, I'd be writing four different forms of the same chapter and that is just not feasible. Maybe in several years when I don't have school and I'm living in a cardboard box on the side of the road. But not right now. And also my brain just wouldn't be able to compute something like that. I think that's fair.

Taekook Analysis is quite dead at the moment, don't you think? But the reasoning is that I simply haven't had a chance to talk about Taekook for a long time, but I do plan on coming back to it. I promise I do. When I get a free second to scroll through Tumblr and get some motivation and everything. Probably when school ends at the end of the month. I know that's a little longer to wait, but for now I still gotta focus on being educated. And homework.

As for this book? Well, it's kinda also become announcements and explanations of what's going on, like right now, so hopefully that'll be a little more common. But please don't expect long complicated parts. I'm going to try and make them more informative and useful, helping the wonders to navigate what's going on within all of the books and things going on. It's still a rant book as well, but I feel like putting announcements and rants together is the best thing to do.

Obviously, I'll still use my message board as 'announcement centre' but this is where you'll get the detailed stuff, and I will always remind you that if you wanna know more then you can come here. Competitions, more detailed explanations, all that stuff. Just filters things slightly and makes sure that those who prefer things simple and short can still get the info they need about what book is updating when, and what kind of competition and other things I'm doing.

I think that's the fairest way to do it.

Now, we move on to the regular books. The stuff you actually wanna know, most likely.

Let's start with the simple one. Taekook Oneshots. The current update schedule states that it gets updated every Monday. I plan to keep this the same as much as I can, though I think I'll prioritise the ongoing stories if things get overwhelming. One missed update for this book is a little less serious, so hopefully that seems fair.

Uncovered Illusion is the next one. Now, as you may know, the Lie Detector series up until last week were updated on Sundays. But this one is going to change to Wednesday, to spread out updates a little and make room for Rainbow, which will be explained in a moment. The prologue for Uncovered Illusion went up 3rd of July 2019, which was a Wednesday, so we've started as we mean to go on. I want to keep this weekly if I can. For now, this means that you can get an update every Wednesday. If this changes or if an update is late, I will say something about it on my message board. I hope to keep it the same, however.

Finally, the 'surprise' book. Rainbow was partially a test to see how the wonders would react to me teasing things and trying to be a bit more sneaky. I actually really enjoyed doing that, and it seemed to be a positive thing? If you thought it was a good thing, please do let me know (or if it was bad then say something as well oops).

Updates will come every two weeks, on Sundays. This is mainly for my sanity, and to make sure I'm more able to be organised with all my updates on every single book, and it also gives me time to write the chapters. As you'll see when you read the first chapter, the start of the chapter has something added to it which does take a few hours to write and perfect. Sure, you have always been very loving and very complimentary, but that doesn't mean I plan on slacking. I want to always improve and show that I appreciate you by giving you the best quality I can.

This book just requires a little more work, if I want to make sure the structure of chapters stays the same even as it develops further. I know that means you miss out a little in terms of me being regular and writing nice and often. But it will be predictable. I am going to do my best to stick to 'every two weeks' because I really do want to be more organised and regular and reliable.

Can I promise that I won't have writer's block or extremely busy and stressful times? No, of course I can't. But I'm going to try and avoid it. And make sure that I bring the best writing I can to the wonders.

Hopefully that helps you to understand what's going on, and when to expect new chapters in each of the currently ongoing books. If you're confused by anything, don't feel scared to ask, because I know I don't always explain things very well. So I completely get it if things don't make sense. Just let me know and I'm more than willing to expand on points.

I love you all, wonders!!
