Alice pov

I came home from school and found mum in the kitchen preparing dinner.Baby Kei was seated on the floor playing with his toys and when he saw me he got up and came running to me calling my name and i met him half way and hugged him.
"Hey sweetie, how was school today"mum said coming to me and giving me a kiss on the for head.
"It was good mum, except for the part where i fought with a boy in my class for picking on me"I said as i played with my brothers hair.
"You got into another fight again?"mum said with an annoyed tone and i rolled my eyes but luckily she didn't see me or else it would have brought in another argument.
"C'mon mum,he started it and i was defending myself. Besides the last time I got into a fight was two months ago"I said trying to defend myself.
"Was it Elam you fought with this time?"she asked in a serious tone and I nodded slowly.
"Listen to me young lady,the next time you get into a fight again,you'll be grounded for two weeks. You know if your father hears this,he's going to be really angry at you"she looked at me seriously and i kept quiet for a while before i spoke up.
"Mum, please don't tell dad about it, i can't have him cancel my birthday party. Please" I looked at her with pleading eyes and she nodded but she made me promise her that am never going to fight with my classmates again .

Elam was my classmate and he sat behind me in class. He picked fights with me for no reasons and that made me hate him. Today he took my maths book and hid it and only gave it back after maths lesson. I was really angry at him and when I asked him why he did that he said that he loved to see me suffer and that made me really mad and I beat him up.

I went to my room and found clothes scattered all over the floor and i knew that Kei had been in my room. As I walked to the closet, something caught my eye and I moved towards my nightstand. My photo frame was lying on the floor and it was broken. I picked it up and put it on the nightstand and I stormed out of my room heading to the kitchen.
My anger was rising and I couldn't control it.
"Mum,why did you let Kei inside my room?" I asked her annoyingly.
"Ooh,am sorry Ally,I was with him while he put your clothes on the floor and I forgot to put them back but don't worry, I will clean your room once am done cooking" mum said and i realized she didn't know what I was talking about.
"Mum,he broke my photo frame that grandpa gave me. What am I going to do and I told him i was going to take care of it. I broke my promise to grandpa" I said with so much anger and I felt tears threaten to fall but I tried to hold them back.
"What? I didn't know that he broke your frame,am really sorry sweetie. Look,am going to get you another frame, I promise. Please don't be sad." Mum came to me and hugged me and I broke into tears.

"Hey people. Am home." Sam announced from the living room as he came to the kitchen. He had the habit of shouting and I really hated it but I had already gotten used to it.
He stood there at the door and asked mum why I was crying and mum explained to him everything.
"Don't worry sis,am sure Kei didn't mean to hurt you. I will get you another one too. Okay Ally?"
I nodded and went back to my room and I lay on my bed feeling exhausted from crying.

Grandpa had given me the frame two years ago before he passed away. We had gone to visit him during our December holiday and after the holiday was over,he had given me the frame as a present and I had promised him to keep it safe forever. Since then I always kept it in my room because i knew no one would steal it.

I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until I heard my phone ringing and I got up. I looked at the screen and I smiled to myself.

"Hello Ally, I've missed you so much" i heard from the other end

"Heey Vee, I've missed you too.When are you coming back?"

"Actually that's the reason I called you. I came home some few hours ago and I was wondering if you could come to my house for a sleepover"

"Okay, lemme talk to my mum and then I'll come to yours" I told her excitedly

"Okay Ally.See you later,bye"

"Bye Vee"

She hung up. I took my jacket and headed to the kitchen and told mum that I was going to spend the night at Vee's.

Sam offered to drive me there but as we were heading out Kei started crying and we decided to take him with us.

After 15 minutes,we arrived at Vee's and I waved to my brothers as they drove away and I headed to the door.
I knocked on the door and Maggie, Vee's mum, opened the door for me.

We chatted for a while and later on I went to Vee's room.
