Deceit POV

"Doubt?" I chocked out, causing the trait to flinch a little.

"Who are you?" He asked, looking into my eyes. I felt tears fill my eyes as he said that.

"It's me...Deceit." I said, taking a step towards him. "Your boyfriend..."

He took a step back and started shaking his head.

"No...I...I don't know you...or any of you..." Doubt mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh, I see." Said Logan. "Doubt has reformed, but it isn't the original Doubt. Thomas will always have a Doubt trait, so his mind remade Doubt. But obviously without his memories of who he was before death."

I looked down at the ground, tears welling up in my eyes.

"I'm sorry...am I Doubt?" He asked. "I...I remember some things. Just names...that's it."

"Yes your doubt." Answered Patton. "What do you remember?"

"You...your morality." He mumbled, pointing to Patton. "Your logic." He added pointing to Logan. "And there's two others but...but I...can't remember."

"That's okay." Said Patton gently. "It's good you at least know what we represent."

"I...I don't know the rest of you..." Doubt trailed off, his gaze flickering between Remy, Picani, and I.

I felt a tear slid down my cheek. Before anyone could say anything, I turned and bolted up the stairs. I heard Patton calling after me but I ignored him. I slammed my door shut and fell to the ground sobbing.

Of course he doesn't remember me. He's back, but it's not him. Why doesn't he remember anything?

Roman POV
I slowly opened my eyes to darkness. Well, the darkness of Virgil's room.

Tears returned to my eyes and I pulled his pillow closer to my chest. I buried my face in it, breathing in his scent.

There felt like there was a heart shaped hole in my chest. Virgil was gone. I don't know how to get him back. I couldn't save him. I couldn't protect him. He's gone. I don't know when I'll see him again.

My stomach growled. I let out a sigh and rolled into my back. I would have to go get food.

I rolled out of the bed and grabbed Virgil's hoodie. I pulled it on before standing up.

I heading out of his room and down the stairs. Logan, Patton, Picani, Remy...and Doubt...was standing in the living room. They all looked up at me.

"How's he alive?" I asked, pointing at Doubt.

"Doubt has reformed, but he doesn't have any of his memories." Answered Logan. I shrugged and shouldered my way through them to the kitchen.

I pulled open cupboards looking for something. I reached in the cupboard and pulled out a bottle of liquor. The good strong stuff.

"What are you doing kiddo?" Asked Patton from behind me. I ignored him and instead opened the bottle. I quickly downed a swallow of it before Patton took it from me.

"I understand that your upset about Virgil but this is not how to deal with this." Patton reprimanded me with a stern tone.

"Give me the bottle back Patton." I begged, turning around to look at him.
