Oh god, my head was pounding. This is by far one of the worst headaches I've have in a long time.I let out a little grunt when I opened my eyes. It is way too bright wherever I am.
I heard movement and than someone's face came into view above mine. And the only thought I could process at this moment was;
Fuck. He's beautiful.
The person smiled down comfortingly at me. He had gorgeous brown eyes with little gold flecks in them. Despite having the same type of hair as everyone else here, his seemed more wavy than others. There was a soft littering of freckles across his nose and cheeks.
"Where...where am I?" I mumbled, pushing myself up onto my elbows. I shut my eyes as the room spun around me.
"You passed out in front of me last night. I didn't exactly know where you live so I just brought you back to my apartment." Answered the person.
"I did?" I said in confusion, reopening. I don't remember anything after watching Ignorance die. That bastard. He deserved that death.
"Yes." He answered. "You were extremely drunk."
"Who are you?" I asked, looking him over. He sat down on an armchair next to the couch I was on. He had light blue jeans, a flowy white blouse, and a long light grey cardigan. There was a pretty flower crown on his head, made out of big white flowers. (Begonias)
"Oh, silly me." He laughed. "I'm Innocence. But my real name is Evan."
"Oh." I managed to say, slightly in shock. So he'll never like me then... We are literally opposites.
"I'm Remus." I told him.
"I know." He mumbled. "You're an actual side."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Just that you actually get to meet and talk with Thomas. You're important to Thomas, whereas the traits, such as myself, don't really matter that much." Evan explained.
"I don't understand." I mumbled, rubbing my forehead. "Than again, I'm pretty fucking hungover."
"What does that mean?" Evan asked, titling his head.
"What does what mean?"
"Fucking?" Evan said. "I've never heard that word."
I had to refrain from bursting out laughing. Is he seriously that innocent? Then again, that makes him even more adorable.
God. Stop mind. Not again. Not after everything with Ignorance. Not going down this road again. Besides, Evan could never like me. We're too different.
"Don't...don't repeat that." I laughed, unable to help myself. "It's a bad word."
"I don't understand." He mumbled. "Anyways, I made some lunch, since you've slept in till almost noon."
He had a bubbly personality. Kinda reminded me of an even more innocent Patton. And more shy and flustered easily.
I slowly got up off the couch and followed him to the kitchen. His house was very bright. All pastel and white. Very different than what I was used to.
There were plants, ranging from tiny succulents to giant houseplants, placed all over the place. It was an open concept house so I could see everything. There were fairy lights everywhere.
