Logan POV
"How are you doing today Patton?" I asked, rolling my chair over to my bed where he was sitting. I always made sure to check in on Patton often ever since I confronted him about cutting. Patton looked up from his coloring book to smile at me.
"I'm doing okay." He mumbled. He paused for a second, obviously thinking about something. "I'm worried for Virgil though. He was cutting again today. I don't know how to help him...does this mean I'm failing?"
"Of course not Patton." I promised him, resting my hand on his. "Your amazing just the way you are. Virgil understand that you're trying." I pulled his head close to me so I could give him a quick kiss.
"You're a lot better at emotions than you credit yourself with." Patton said with a small laugh.
"I understand that your upset and that as your boyfriend it makes me upset to see you upset." I said. "Therefore, I must do what I can to make you feel better."
"Thanks Logie." He mumbled, pulling me in for another kiss. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Of course."
"Do...do you really love me? Let me rephrase that. That came out wrong. How can you love me?" He mumbled. "Your so smart and calm and composed...and I'm so emotional and dumb and uncalm, if that's even a word. See, just proving how dumb I am."
"Patton," I said softly, Patton looked down at his lap in shame. "Patton look at me." I grabbed his chin and made him look me in the eyes. I could see tears welling up in his eyes.
"Patton, I love you more than anything. I love you so much. More than you can fathom. I wish I could show you how much I love you. If I could, I would give you the world. Everything you ever wanted, so that your happy. Your happiness is all that matters to me. You are not dumb or stupid or too emotional for me. I understand that we may be complete opposites, but that's why I love you. I love hearing your laugh. Watching you get excited over the small things. The way that you notice all the good things in life. That you care so much about everyone and everything. That's what I love about you. I love you because of who you are. You are an amazing, kind, gentle, affectionate, outstanding, considerate, incredible, lovely, marvelous, caring, empathetic, generous, witty, beautiful, adorable person." I paused and took a deep breath. Patton looked close to tears, a huge smile on his face.
I grabbed the sides of Patton head and pulled him into a passionate kiss. Still kissing, I got up from my chair and sat next to him on my bed. We finally pulled away from each other when we couldn't breath anymore.
"Patton, I love you so much." I told him, putting my hand on his cheek. Patton smile and placed his hand over mine.
"I love you too Logan." He said with gentle laugh.
"What can I do, to make you happy?" I asked. Patton thought in silence for a while, but slowly an smirk spread on his face .
"Can we bake cookies?" He asked with a giggle. My smile turned to a frown and fear filled me.
"You know I can't cook." I reminded him. I remembered the last time I tried to cook...it wasn't a pretty sight.
"Pleeeaaaasssseeeeee Logieeeeeeee!!!" Patton begged, trying not to laugh.
"Fine Patton." I obliged with a roll of my eyes. "If it'll make you happy than I supposed we can bake cookies."
Patton squealed and quickly jumped to his feet. He grabbed my hands and pulled me out of the room, almost causing me to trip.
