TRIGGER WARNINGS : MAJOR CHARACTER DEATHS
Virgil POV
Corruption screamed as the sword went straight through his heart. All the way through his chest and into the ground.
Many soft gasps of shock came from all of us watching what just happened. Wylan started sobbing heavily while Corruption just looked at him in shock.
"Y-You bitch," Corruption gasped out, one hand flying to the sword hilt. Wylan let go of the sword, stumbling backwards in shock.
"I'm sorry," Wylan whispered. "But you knew it had to happen."
"L-Look wh-wh-what you did," Corruption hissed, falling to his knees. "Y-You've doomed us."
"It had to happen," Wylan repeated solemnly.
Corruption's entire body started glitching horribly. He started coughing horribly and places a hang to his chest were the sword was stuck through.
"You l-little whore," Corruption said, coughing again.
"I could say the same to you," Wylan mumbled, slowly standing up.
Wylan cupped Corruption's face in his hands. They glared at each other a bit, some of Wylan's tears fell onto Corruption's face.
"Wh-Why," Corruption chocked out, gasping for breath.
"You brought this upon yourself," Wylan told him. "You deserve this."
"Y-You're c-come-coming with m-me," Corruption whispered, his voice getting more stuttery.
"I know," Wylan breathed out, closing his eyes briefly.
"You've seal-sealed you're own f-fate," Corruption said, obviously trying to get under his skin.
"But I've saved everyone else," Wylan said with a soft smile. He opened his eyes again and gently brushed some hair from Corruption's glitching face.
Corruption let out a scream and his knees buckled. Rage filled his eyes as Wylan held him up.
His entire body started shaking and he screamed while grabbing at his chest. His rage filled face changed to one of pure horror and fear.
