Logan POV
I woke up, my arms still wrapped tightly around Patton, spooning him. He was breathing slowly, still fast asleep.

I sighed, feeling strangely content. Rain pelted against the ceiling loudly. It was a strangely comforting sound.

Patton started to stir, slowly waking up. I kissed him lightly on the forehead. Patton smiled slightly before looking up at me.

"Feeling any better?" I asked him.

"A little." He mumbled. "I'm hungry."

"Me too." I agreed.

Patton pushed himself upwards and looked out the window. He sighed before pushing himself out of the bed.

I stood up and followed Patton out of his room and to the kitchen.

I sat down at the kitchen table and summoned a newspaper from today. Nothing of importance to me but it's interesting.

Patton started making pancakes, something the rest of us couldn't do. Or any type of cooking for that matter.

"Do you think Virgil will wake up soon?" Asked Patton.

"One can hope."

"That didn't answer my question."

"Considering that I got rid of the parasite, it should be today or within hours of the removal." I stopped talking, letting out a sigh. "But Thomas took pills, and that shuts down anxiety apparently, so that would push him waking up a few more days. And on top of that, he tried to hang himself. So that makes recovery any longer."

Patton let out a little whimper. He stopped making the pancakes for a second and looked at me, tears in his eyes again.

"Why'd he try to...kill himself?"

"That I don't know the answer to." I admitted reluctantly.

"Did we do something that made him do that to himself?"

"I don't know." I told him again.

"Why?" Asked Patton starting to break down again. I stood up and quickly walked over to Patton.

"Hey. Virgil is going to be okay." I said. "I'm going to make sure that Virgil makes it out of this alive and than we're going to all make sure he gets better."

Patton nodded slowly, wiping away his tears. He turned and wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on top of his.

Roman POV
The sound of the drumming of rain on the roof woke me up. But instead of waking up to a bright room with a multitude of stuffed animals around me, I woke to a dark room and band posters.

I turned to see Virgil. Instantly I jerked upwards out of the bed. I ran my hand through my hair. I fell asleep next to him. In his bed. In his room.

I took deep breath, slightly unsure of what to think.

It's fine, I was tired after last night.  And I accidentally fell asleep.  That's all that happened.

"God what is wrong with me?"  I whispered to myself.

Virgil started to move again, this time turning onto his side.  A faint glimmer of hope appeared in my heart.  Virgil will make it out of this, I'm sure of it.

I sat down again next to him.  I smiled faintly, brushing the hair away from his face.  But I frowned as I looked at the black and blue bruises and rope burns around his neck.

I sighed, completely unsure of what to do.  I faintly felt the tug of Thomas summoning me.  Even though I didn't want to leave Virgil's side until he woke up, I gave into the summoning and appeared in Thomas's living room.

Logan POV
Once Roman showed up for the meeting, I quickly got down to business.

"Glad to see you joined us Roman."  I said.  "The four of us need to have a serious discussion about the recent events before Virgil wakes up."

Everyone was silent for a second, all of us collectively thinking about Virgil hanging from the ceiling.  I quickly snapped out of it.

"We need to do something."  Said Patton softly.  "We need to help Virgil so that he doesn't...hurt himself again."

"This is all my fault."  Said Thomas burying his head in his hands.

"Come now Thomas, we all take responsibility for it."  Roman told him.

"But what will we do once Virgil does wake up?"  I asked everyone.  Everyone was silent again.

"We just need to take care of him, and make sure he doesn't do anything like this again."  Said Patton.

"I think we can all agree that we don't want Virgil to die."  Said Roman.  We all nodded, agreeing with that.

"We'll need to have a talk with him."  Said Patton.  "A calm talk."

"I agree."  Said Thomas.  "We all messed up horribly but we need to help Virgil calmly and kindly."

"On that subject,"  I started to say.  "I don't believe that we should tell Virgil about the parasite."

"Well why not?"  Asked Roman.

"While it would be beneficial for Virgil to know everything that happed,"  I said.  "It would be better for him to think that the liquid he drank had no affect on him, that it was merely a very strong type of anxiety pill.  So as to prevent him trying to get ahold of this again."

"I guess that does make some sense,"  Started Patton.  "But lying is wrong!"

"If it protects Virgil, how can it be bad?"  Roman asked.

"Because what if he finds out the truth?"  Asked Patton.  "That would hurt him more."

"Than I guess we tell him the truth and nothing but the truth."  I told them.

"But we need him to wake up."  Said Thomas.

I was about to answer when the sound of shuffling feet came from the top of the stairs.

"I think you all have a lot of questions for me."  Said a slightly sarcastic voice.
