Deceit POV
I groaned as I looked at the knife sticking out of my side. My body went limp and I felt my eyes roll back in my head.I slowly pushed myself up, pressing my hand to my side. Roman summoned his sword and advanced on the parasite, quickly followed by Remus with his mace.
The parasite was hissing and hunched over. It's claws out in front of it in a threatening manner.
Logan moved to my side to look at the wound. I shoved him off me with a hiss.
"Help Patton first," I told him forcefully. Logan looked uneasy but nodded and turned back to Patton.
Patton was digging his fingers into Virgil's forearms, who had kneeled down next to Patton. Tears rolled down Patton's cheeks and his eyes were full of fear.
I grimaced in pain and wrapped my hand around the handle of the knife. Before I could chicken out of it, I yanked the knife out of my side.
I cried out, dropping the knife with a shaking hand. Blood instantly flowed out, forming a puddle beneath me on the floor.
