"Well," I mumbled, Evan and I looking around his old house. "Home sweet home."
Did we make a mistake? Evan asked me.
I let out a sigh, thinking about what happened. Patton went batshit crazy and started crying. Everyone else went back to the mindpalace pretty quickly after that. Deceit and Quinn are still at their house, and Remy and Emile were obviously tempted about the thought of going home.
"We'll be fine," I promised, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "I'm gonna protect you, I swear on my sexy ass."
What a sexy ass? Evan wrote, pure innocence in his eyes. I laughed gently.
"Don't say that," I laughed.
I'm mute. He deadpanned, giving me a done look.
"Sorry," But I couldn't stop laughing.
