Corruption POV
My entire body was twitching. Coming back into existence in the mindscape is not very fun or painless.
I rolled over to my side, almost relishing in the pain it brought me. Pain felt good. Reminded me that I was alive.
That I was back. A lot angrier this time too. That those light side imbeciles haven't defeated me.
And that I remember everything. I especially remember that deceitful, lying, snake faced, traitor that stabbed me in the eye.
I'm not sure how I remember. Maybe it's because I'm not really a trait. More a parasite of the mind. I don't believe that insanity can become a true trait until I destroy Thomas's mental stability.
I was lying in the bottom of The Pit of Forgotten Memories. I could feel as the water lapped against my legs. I could also feel the little parasites running over my body. They were my beautiful creations. Unfortunately, that annoying nerd Logan knows how to cure someone who's been infected.
Anger and pure hatred coursed through me as I thought about the light sides.
I hate Virgil.
I hate Deceit.
I will make them pay for ever thinking they could defeat me. They belong to the dark, I'll make sure that they know that.
And I know just how to drive them insane. For Deceit, it's easy. Kill Doubt. Kill Doubt in front of Deceit every single time he reforms. But I'd love to kidnap Doubt and torture him until my hearts content. I will absolutely love making him suffer.
But Virgil is a little more difficult. Maybe it's because I spent so little time with him when I first started forming. Virgil was smart enough to understand what I was doing and trap me and the other dark sides away.
Too bad it didn't work out for him.
I can sense that Virgil's not down here anymore. I think I could use his memories of what Remus did to him to drive a wedge between his relationship with Roman. Without Roman, Virgil will have nothing left to live for.
I slowly pushed myself up onto my hands and knees. I hissed out in pain. I was not used to pain.
Eventually, I stood up. I stood still as the pain and dizziness washed out of me. Finally, I was returning back to my normal self. Pain doesn't effect me due to how my body glitches.
I'm not even going to bother with Remus and Ignorance this time around. They're too stupid for their own goods. They are utterly useless to me and my plans.
Well, time to start corrupting Virgil.
I closed my eyes to start forcing thoughts of Remus into his mind, but realized my powers were too weak as of now. I need to regain my strength and energy.
I walked over to the side of the tunnel. I looked upwards to the entrance into the mindscape.
I started climbing with eased practice. Within seconds I was at the little ledge that led back into the mindscape.
I sat down on the edge, staring down into the dark abyss that I considered my home. I could feel it's energy pulsing in my veins. The water in here ran through my blood. All this dark energy. All under my control.
I sighed before standing up. I silently opened the door and stepped into the hallway. I'm very good at being silent. Blending into the shadows. Acting like I'm not really there.
