TRIGGER WARNING : swearing, Glitch Bitch
Logan POV
I typed away at my computer, researching symptoms and medications for insanity. Patton was pressed against my side, watching Disney's Christopher Robin. We were sitting together on one end of the couch. Deceit on the other end and Remy sitting in the corner. Both Remy and Deceit were having mental breakdowns about loosing their boyfriends. Patton decided to put on a nice movie and stick together until I figured out what to do.
Roman still has failed to return from wherever he stormed off to this afternoon. The sun was starting to set, which was worrying. Where did Roman go? What stupid mess did he get himself into during his fit of rage at Corruption?
Anyways, Corruption had mentioned something very interesting last time we saw him. That Thomas, his host, was the only one out of us that could destroy him.
Corruption represented Insanity, or madness. Which meant, he was a type of mental disorder. Even if everyone is born with Madness but a few times it can develop into true Insanity, which makes it a mental disorder.
I made a connection with Corruption to Virgil. Virgil is Anxiety, another mental disorder. Disorders can be stopped or a least dulled with medication or hospitalization. I would hope Corruption isn't bad enough for Thomas to be put in a hospital.
But when Thomas was on anti-anxiety medication, it destroyed Virgil. Causing him bruises, headaches, and lightheadedness. My hypothesis is that if Thomas had taken any more pills, it would have caused Virgil to die. My theory was proven by the video on the orb.
Virgil took anti-anxiety pills, and it killed him. If he had been left any longer like that, he most likely would have faded.
Would Corruption be killed if Thomas took a type of antipsychotic medication?
A knock at the front door caused me to be jolted from my thoughts. We all looked over at the door with only one thought on our minds; who could possibly be knocking on the door this late into the evening?
Patton paused the movie and stood up from the couch. I grabbed his hand and pulled him back on the couch.
"I'll see who it is." I said, moving my laptop off my lap. I stood up and headed over to the front door. Logically, there is no way it could be Corruption. If he wanted to talk to us, he wouldn't do it in such a normal manor. And Roman wouldn't have knocked, he would've marched right in.
So who's knocking on the door than?
I took a deep breath and opened the door. A little bit of surprise filled me when I saw someone I did not recognize at all, carrying an unconscious Roman.
"Hello, this is the Light Sides house, correct?" The newcomer asked. He had black hair, bright blue eyes, and old fashioned glasses. He was tall but not very muscular. He was wearing old fashioned clothes, much like that of the 14th century. His skin was lightly tanned, most likely from being out in the sun.
"Yes, this is where the Light Sides reside." I answered. "Who are you and what is wrong with Roman?"
"Oh, right, of course, my apologies." He said. "My name is Luther Isidore, I'm Prince Roman's Royal Advisor, from the Kingdom of Dreams."
"I see." I said. "I was unaware that Roman ruled over a kingdom."
"Yes, we reside in the Imagination but we only exist when he wants us to." Luther explained.
