Two long weeks went by, the beach house that Amanda was in was already empty. She had left this morning in hopes to see her husband again.

Amanda went home and to her surprise Chin was there

-Babe? I'm home - she said hoping to hear his voice in return, but what she got was tight hug from a man full of tears.

-It's okay, I'm here, what Happened?

- I've missed you so much, I am sorry, so sorry, I'll change, I'll be better and we are having this baby this year - Chin said looking in her eyes and wiping her tears off

-I'm glad you understood what happened, I forgive you and.. don't worry about the baby thing, let's wait and let it come naturally, keep thinking about this has made our lives Miserable.

-I love you so, so much - he kissed her - thanks for coming back

-Where else would I go? - she gave him the biggest smile

Chin and Amanda were finally having a nice time together. They had the most happy breakfast in Oahu that day, but before they could enjoy it more the duty called Chin and he had to leave.

The sun entered the master bedroom of the House just when Steve opened his eyes and realized she was there, it had not been a dream. He could actually touch her Glowy skin and kiss those rosed lips. It was real.

Before he could say a word she woke up realizing he was staring at her.

-Morning Commander - she said with her eyes closed and a smile on her face

-Morning Doctor - he whispered kissing her soft lips

-What time is it? - she opened her eyes and rolled to his chest

-It's currently 7:45 in Paradise City

-Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap - she kept repeating that while picking up her clothes from the floor

-I have a surgery at 8:20, I gotta go bae - she said reaching for his magnetic lips

-Okay, don't you wanna take a shower or eat something?

-I want but I have no time, I have a snack at my office frigobar, I will be fine. I call you when I get there

Vanessa's POV

I needed food in my system and I needed to shower, but as I said before. NO TIME HONEY.

I got to the hospital at 8am, went straight to the patient's room, said hi, did some exams before surgery and went to my office. When I got there, my best friend and practically brother like was there waiting for me.

-You got laid didn't you? - he said before I could notice him there

-Oh! Jesus Christ what are you doing here? - I said putting my hand on my chest from the scare

-I notice you were late, so I came to your office to wait for you, but seriously, who did you fuck with?

-Okay then - I said taking my gloves off and picking up my phone

-I'm 3 minutes out from your hospital, I need you to wait for me, it's Danny. He was shot and I need the best with him. I can't lose him

He sounded desperate

-Of, course. Uh.. I see you at the ER entrance - I hang up and paged Omar to come and finish the surgery for me

-Okay, bye - I said and ran to the ER entrance, and the moment I stepped outside Steve parked. When I saw a bloody Chin carrying an unconscious Danny I immediately put him on a gurnie

-Ma'am, she is in surgery

While I was giving others commands, I finished the ultrasound and searched for the bullet's way out. There was none, now that is concerning. I stanched the wound and waited for Dr. Burkwitz

-He lost a lot of blood already

-He will need a Heart surgery to repair his valve

-Okay then. Thanks - I said throwing my gloves into the garbage and meeting a lot of people with fear in their eyes looking at me.

And just when I was about to say something I heard the speaker

And there I was again, inside Danny's room. Looks like I am not gonna shower within this 24 hours
