The quiet house was peaceful as Jisoo sat at the kitchen table. She had her script and was going over lines, enjoying the quiet. Lisa was away visiting her family in Thailand. Although Jisoo missed her, she was happy to have the house to herself. The hyper girl was coming back the next day. Jisoo's plans for the night involved stretching out on the couch, napping in every room, taking a hot bath with the door open, and walking around naked.
Clothes were the enemy, but she couldn't trust Lisa not to attack her every time she went free from the confines of fabric. The clock struck five and Jisoo tossed her script on the table. She was done with work, and 'me time' was about to commence. Throwing her hair up in a ponytail, Jisoo stripped and walked to the bathroom, filling up the large clawfoot bathtub. She sank into the water and relaxed, not thinking about the buzzing phone she left in the living room.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lisa's taxi pulled up to the house close to six. The sun was still up in the summer sky. Her flight for the next day was canceled, so she booked a ticket for later that day. There was a mad dash as her family home to get everything packed up and say goodbye. She had texted and called Jisoo twenty times since she booked her flight but she never got an answer. Worry pressed down on her shoulders as she paid the driver and got her bags. What if something happened? Another thought brought a smile to Lisa's face. What if Jisoo was going to surprise her?
Visions of a romantic dinner, candles, a long walk in the warm night air, fireflies, and a kiss in the moonlight put the girl in a daze as she stood in the driveway. The curtains to the living room were drawn shut. Excitement outweighed the worry and Lisa ran into the house. "Jisoo, I'm home," Lisa yelled. A soft thud was heard from their room. "I came home early," Lisa called again with even more excitement.
If Jisoo was in their bedroom, she might be getting a very nice surprise. Leaving her suitcase by the end of the couch, Lisa started toward the bedroom. Just before she opened the door, a damp Jisoo came busting through it, wrapped in a short, thin, green robe. "Lisa! Hi, what are you doing here," she asked in a rush.
"My flight for tomorrow was canceled, so I got one for today! I missed you, baby," the tall girl yelled excitedly. She hugged Jisoo tightly and rocked from side to side. "What were you doing?"
"I just got out of a bath."
"It's a shame I missed it," Lisa murmured lowly. Jisoo gave her a stiff smile and tightened the belt to her robe. "So what do you want to do now," She asked in the same soft tone.
"Make dinner." Pecking her check, Jisoo ran around her and went to the kitchen. She started pulling things out of cabinets and threw together dinner. The two women ate dinner in near silence, Jisoo mourning her evening of nudity and laziness, and Lisa wondering why Jisoo wasn't happy she was home.
Once the dishwasher was going, the couple sat on the couch watching a movie. "What did I do wrong," Lisa asked.
Jisoo looked at her in surprise. "You didn't do anything," she told the girl honestly. Jisoo was always glad to have Lisa home, but every once in a while, she wanted alone time.
"Is that it? Did I forget to do something?" Jisoo shook her head again.
"No, not at all. How was your trip?" Lisa told her about her week away from home with her family, still a little weary of Jisoo's behavior. After she had recounted every detail she could think of, Jisoo still had a wistful look on her face. Like her presence was getting in the way of something. "Are you sure nothing's wrong? You seem like you would rather be doing something else."
"No, its nothing. Nothing at all," Jisoo assured her. Lisa frowned until she got an idea. Once Jisoo was looking away, the tall woman pounced. Tackling her back on the couch, Lisa's fingers raced across Jisoo's body, making quick work all over.
Jisoo laughed as she tried to break Lisa off of her. "S-stop," she giggled. "It tickles."
"I know. If you won't tell me, I'll tickle it out of you!" And so the battle began. Both women's fingers danced along each other's bodies, causing loud peels of laughter to fill the air. It wasn't until Jisoo was hanging half off the couch, a leg wrapped around Lisa's waist, both of their stomachs aching, did they decide on a truce.
"Seriously, if somethings wrong, you can tell me. You can tell me anything," Lisa told her as they cuddled on the soft cushions.
"Alright, alright. I was going to take tonight to nap in every room and walk around without clothes."
"You can do that when I'm here!"
"Yeah, but clothes are the enemy and you jump on me every time I break free." Lisa laughed at Jisoo's explanation. Rolling her eyes, Lisa scooted away from her girlfriend and pulled the robe belt loose. After snatching the soft green fabric off, she tossed it on the floor.
"There. The enemy has been taken out and you are free to run around as you wish."
"And you won't jump on me?" Lisa pulled Jisoo close again, hands running up and down her arms, nowhere that would count as 'attacking' her.
"No. Tonight I'm just going to enjoy the view."
