The brunette silently covered her hair with a black scarf before tucking it under her hood. Her target was set and all there was left to do was get them. The long, thin object felt light in her hoodie pocket as she pulled up her black face mask. She grinned under the veil before leaving her spacious bathroom to get in her car.
The thin woman drove to the shady part of downtown, her posture relaxed as she confidently steered over to the side of the road. The man she was looking for would be in the dive bar in front of her. He would undoubtedly drink three shots of whiskey, a shot of tequila, and a vodka on the rocks. By the time he was completely hammer and couldn't tell you his address, the brunette would move in.
The sight of a woman walk by with pretty eyes and the promise of a beautiful face would lure him into following her. He would do the same as he had done to ten women since the brunette began following him; he would follow her to her car and try to hit on her. When she told him she wasn't interested, he would become physical and she would strike. All the women the masked figure had seen had been able to get away but he would not.
The man was a nobody; someone that wouldn't be missed. Sure his disappearance would be noted by the people at his dead-end job and the bartender that had grown accustomed to watching him get so drunk he couldn't stand, but no one would truly miss that poor, miserable soul.
The brunette parked her dark car before she leaned her seat back so she could wait comfortably. While she waited for the stumbling figure she would take home, a small woman came out of a diner across the street. She immediately caught the brunette's attention; her long dark brown hair ran over her shoulders in chocolate waves, her pretty eyes shined in the dim light from the street lights posted just too far away from each other.
She was a goddess. The masked woman's mission was completely forgotten as the beautiful woman walked by timidly. Her eyes darted around the street in front of her and on the occasion, behind her. She was nervous, probably unaccustomed to working in such a dangerous part of town. There was no reason for such an angel to be put in danger by walking down that dark street with the cowardly thugs nearby.
A stumbling man staggered by the black car but the woman inside had long forgotten her goal of taking him. The angel's dark yellow uniform vanished around the corner before the masked woman started her car. The diner worker tensed as she noticed a car following her. She tried crossing the street but the car followed every step she took.
The woman broke out in a run as the car continued to pursue her. When the car stopped, the woman in the yellow uniform watched another woman get out and watch down the opposite side of the street. The worker stalled her feet as the figure disappeared. Just as she began walking home again, something pricked her in the neck.
"You're safe angel," a light voice whispered in her ear.
The masked woman caught the worker as she fell. The taller of the two picked up the limp body and took her to the backseat of the car. The kidnapper smile as she read the woman's name tag. Jisoo. The brunette drove home and carefully carried Jisoo's body into her home. As the doe-eyed girl smiled as she closed the door to her guest room. She flipped the lock from the outside before going to make Jisoo some food.
The woman would keep her safe. Jisoo would never need anyone else.

My power is back! About six o'clock this morning, tree clearing trucks started rolling out. Apparently around thirty power poles went down across the county. We talked to someone in town today that said their friend got out of work at six pm and he was stuck on the interstate for about eight hours or so because of the bridge. Thankfully, I haven't heard of anyone getting hurt in the area and my family is fine. I'm sorry about not updating yesterday but unless something unexpected happens again, I should be updating every day. Thank you for your patience.
