Lisa threw down her Ipad. The blog was all about some girl wishing her best friends were her sisters. Thoughts of Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo came to mind. Jennie and Rosé would be fun to have as sisters, but Jisoo was a totally different story. Their wedding was in six weeks and she couldn't wait to become Mrs. Kim.
Why would someone want their best friends to be their sisters? Lisa burrowed into her blankets and laid her head on her pillow. Jisoo was visiting her parents so the tall girl was sleeping alone. Soon, Lisa was fast asleep, but thoughts about the blog still swarmed around her mind.
Slowly, Lisa opened her eyes, stretching out and smiling. Another day closer to the wedding. Getting out of bed, Lisa noticed her room looked different. The walls were a pale yellow instead of a pretty lavender. The bed was against the bed and much smaller than her and Jisoo's. Her clothes were the only things that were the same. Running over to the vanity that was crushed into the corner of the room along with a bunch of random stuff she needed to clean up, she surveyed. Her eyes were still big, cheeks still squishy, her lips still full. Only her freshly dyed black hair was blonde again.
Lisa's eyes grew wide in the mirror. What was going on? She ran out the door to her room, and almost ran into Rosé. "Lisa! Why did you get up so late? We have to leave for practice in like thirty minutes. Go get ready!" Nodding at the frantic girl, Lisa went back into her room and got dressed in a pair of simple black jeans, blue Converse, and a SpongeBob shirt she was sure she didn't have.
Once she was ready, she went down a set of stairs slowly. This was not her house. Jennie and Rosé were eating at the table while Jisoo was pouring four glasses of juice at the kitchen island. Smiling, Lisa went over, happy to see she was back from her parents, hugging Jisoo from behind. "Hey," she whispered. "How did you sleep?"
Jisoo gave Lisa a strange smile and turned around in her arms. She gave the taller girl a quick squeeze and gathered the glasses. She put them on the table and waved Lisa over. "Come on, baby sis, you mom won't wait for us for long. You know how she rushes to take us to practice." The Thai woman froze. Mom? Baby sis? What the hell?
Lisa sat and ate with them before following the three girls to the car. She was in the backseat by Rosé and Jennie while Jisoo took the passenger seat. "So," Jennie asked. "How was your date last night?" She looked at Lisa with a sly smile. Rosé and Jisoo gave her matching looks.
"Date?" Lisa raised an eyebrow at her 'sisters'.
"Your date. With Bambam? He was so excited that you finally changed his name to 'Baby' in your phone, he texted me all night." Lisa's blood ran cold. A date with Bambam? Her childhood friend, Bambam? As she tried not to gag at the thought, Lisa shook her head. "Are you going to go see him tonight after practice? Doesn't he get out of the studio at eight tonight?"
Lisa nodded without having any clue what was happening. She was still stuck on Bambam. Really, Bambam and not Jisoo?
"I can't believe he already debuted," Rosé said. "He started training only a year before us and his groups' already on their second EP." Lisa just hummed and nodded at the right times, not understanding what her 'sisters' were saying. Her eyes unconsciously went to Jisoo, her go-to refuge when times were tough. She was always sure her fiancée would have the right answer. A swell of love rose in Lisa's chest as she looked at the beautiful woman. But there was a twinge of disgust there. Here, Jisoo, her beautiful Chichu was her sister.
Jisoo's mom, their mom, dropped them off at the JYP building. "Where," Lisa asked herself. Not the YG building? Jennie led the group into the doors to a practice room where a large group of people stood stretching.
"Alright, guys. We're just in time. I'll see you all at home later." She smiled at the three and went to a group of girls. She started talking to them, Rosé and Jisoo doing the same, leaving Lisa alone. What do I do?
