"Do you really trust those tall infants to put up the sheet," Rosé asked as she and her friends walked under a lit lamp post. For Halloween, she and their wide group of friends decided to watch horror movies in the park. After getting permission from the park owners, the merry band assigned jobs. The girls were to bring food, the tallboys were to set up the sheet for the projector, and Kyungsoo was to pick movies.
As he set up the projector, Lisa and Jennie spread the blankets out across the ground while Rosé and Jisoo unpacked the food. "We bring candy," Irene announced as she, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri rolled into the park.
The nine girls chatted while they got comfortable on the blankets. Slowly the boys filled in around the girls already on the ground. Kai pulled Jennie to sit while her back against his chest while Rosé laid her head on Lisa's lap. Jisoo stretched out on her side for Lisa to immediately put her head on her girlfriend's stomach. As Halloween started, Rosé handed Lisa and Jisoo thermoses of hot chocolate as Jennie gave them candy.
Jisoo fell asleep halfway through the Friday the 13th only to be woken up when most of the group screamed while watching The Exorcist. Kyungsoo just sat in his puffy black coat, sipping a thermos of tea and smiling like a maniac at the fear of his friends.
"Are you okay," Jisoo whispered in Lisa's ear. Rosé had curled herself into a ball and was clinging onto Jennie like a leech while the Thai girl snuggled into her girlfriend's side.
"I'm okay," Lisa told her in a trembling voice.
"We can go if you want."
"No, no. I want to finish the movies. I'll be fine. Can we get under a blanket?" Jisoo smiled at the younger girl before she reached out to grab a thick quilt to wrap around Lisa and herself. The older stuck her arm out for the Thai to use as a pillow while the movie continued. The Korean twirled Lisa's thick brown hair around her fingers as she intertwined their hands.
"Here, have some more hot chocolate," Jisoo whispered as the next movie began. She handed the little spoon her thermos and a Three Muskateers.
"Thank you," Lisa told her in a soft voice.
After their movie marathon was over and everyone went their separate ways, Lisa and Jisoo walked to the Thai's house. Since they stayed out about three hours after the younger's curfew, they would have to sneak in without her parents knowing.
"Are you going to have nightmares," Jisoo asked her goofy girlfriend.
"I hope so!"
"Why would you hope so," the older asked incredulously.
"So I can cuddle you and you can't push me away!" Jisoo giggled as she pulled Lisa down to her by the neck.
"We'll cuddle even if you don't have nightmares." When the couple got to the younger's house, Lisa unlocked the door quietly. Jisoo crept in after her and they stalked up the stairs together with horrified faces when a floorboard creaked loudly.
Once they got to Lisa's room, the two showered and crawled into bed as the Thai's alarm clocks showed nearly three o'clock. "You were serious about us cuddling, right," Lisa asked.
"Come here silly." Jisoo opened her arms for the Thai girl to jump in. "Are you comfortable Miss Little Spoon?"
"Very."
When Lisa's mom opened Lisa's door the next morning to check on her daughter she found the two curled up together. Lisa's face was pressed into Jisoo's shoulder as the older girl wrapped her arms around the younger as she shifted in her sleep. "So cute," she whispered as she closed the door.
