Jisoo shook as she screamed in the middle of the lobby. No one stopped to look at her. The nurses and doctor's kept running, families continued to panic as their loved ones were taken back to be seen. Not a single person stopped to help her. A cold hand touched Jisoo's shoulder. Whipping around, Jisoo found a kind looking girl standing there.

"Hi, I'm Lisa."

"Lisa, what's going on? It's like no one can see me!"

"They can't. What's your name?"

"Kim Jisoo."

"Jisoo, you passed away last night. No one can see you. They can't see me either."

"No! No, you're lying! This is some elaborate prank. I did. Not. Die."

"Jisoo, your injuries from the building collapse were too much. The doctors tried everything but they couldn't save you. A lot of people died from it. You were moved to the morgue about three hours ago. I can take you there if you want."

"Please do! What do you mean a building collapse? You're in on this prank aren't you!" Smiling sadly, Lisa took Jisoo by the hand. Not wanting to freak the newly dead girl out, she deliberately walked down the corridor instead of just going through the floor. When she was about a year into her isolated confinement in the hospital, Lisa floated down to the center of the earth. The heat that would have melted any metal didn't warm her up a bit.

The pair slipped through a door and went down several stairs until they got to the morgue. Thankfully, the mortician was on a lunch break. Going to a small door on the wall, Lisa pulled a tray out. Jisoo's hand shook as she pulled the sheet away from the face. She gasped as she looked at her own bruised face.  There were cuts on her obviously broken limbs.

It looked like she had been crushed like she had been in a...building collapse. Tears fell down Jisoo's face and fell off her chin, never landing on the floor. Never landing anywhere. The shell shocked girl stumbled away from her own broken and lifeless body. Lisa helped her sit on the floor against the all after covering the body's face and pushing the tray back in. The taller girl sank to the floor next to Jisoo.  Neither could feel the cold of the floor beneath them.

"I'm so sorry Jisoo."

"How? How can you see me? How is this possible?" He voice shook from stress and confusion.

"I died here three years ago from leukemia. I've been wandering here ever since."

"Is there no...place to go from here?"

"I'm not sure. Some people stay for a short time, so people next manifest at all. I guess both of us are holding on to something."

"So is this it? Wandering around a hospital forever?"

"I guess for now, anyway."

Jisoo buried her head in her arms. "That sounds so lonely."

"It is. But," Lisa said. "Having someone to talk to might help." Jisoo looked over to Lisa. After a long moment, the Korean girl extended a hand out to her only friend. Smiling, Lisa took her hand before pulling her into a much needed hug.
