You paced back and forth, scared and worried about your lover. You turned to the bedroom to see you eldest child standing there, you could see the worry in their eyes. All you wish was to calm then down, but you couldn't this time. Well not until Kevin woke up, not until they knew he was ok.
Your eyes snapped to the couch, as Kevin shift in his sleep. You walked to him, placing your hand on his forehead.
He was warm, though that didn't worry you. What worried you was being a single mother, or going back to habit.
You jumped as a hand touch your cheek, you snapped out of your thoughts.
He was awake, though he seemed in pain.
"You ok, do you need any painkillers " you said in a whisper.
He nodded and closed his eyes once again
