Keyshia's POV:
Lights brightly beamed down into my eyes as I lift them open.
Where am I?
I look around seeing white empty walls nothing on them. The constant beeping of a nearby heart monitor kept a steady beat.
The smell of hospital was a fragrance that was quite particular.
Reeked of Death and sickness.
I look at my arms seeing an IV hooked up on my left arm. As a pulse ox rested on my index finger.
I peel back the white sheets seeing I was all stitched up with bandages wrapped around my breast area.
Suddenly All of my memories flushed in from that night. Dro tried to kill me and King didn't even attempt to save me.
After everything I did for him.. he left me for dead.
"Oh Ms.Long it's good to see you're finally awake. " A doctor stepped in with long black hair with a clip board in her hand. "Are you in any pain?" She asked
Then I thought .. my baby...
"M-my baby?" My mouth dry and hoarse. "M-my baby . I-is my baby ok?" My heart monitor picked up its pace as my breathing got heavier.
The doctor looked sympathetic as she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, Ms Long but your baby didn't make it.."
How can that be .. no..
"No. You're fucking lying ! No. Check again . My baby has to be there." I felt the tears drip from My tired eyes.
"I'm sorry. We did everything we could." The doctor said as she pursed her lips.
"No. No check again!" I shout snatching my IV out. My ears full of tears as I struggle trying to get up.
"Please, Ms Lloyd you have to rest." The doctor held me down as she pushed the nurses button.
"No get the fuck of me . You're a fucking liar." I spit,
My heart monitor beeping out of control as Other nurses rushed by her side trying to calm me down.My baby is dead.
I cry screaming as the nurse injected a needle "this will help you calm down."
My muscles relax as tears silently fell from my eyes.
"He killed my baby . And h-he allowed him." My words faint as drowsiness took over my body .
"It's ok just relax." The doctor said stroking my hair as i sniffled.
I wasn't sure if I could.
But I knew one thing.. this isn't over.
