She sat at her desk muttering, 'Oh dear!
That poor, poor man and his young brother too.'
She went to her bookshelves for what to do
The medical volumes explained his condition
With little prospect for a remedial remission
Doc U.B. Well shook his head and said,
'He just can't understand his wife is dead.
I've seen it before in others,
fighting men and mothers.
The brother seemed relatively unaffected,
nothing serious lasting was detected.'
'Hypnosis is mentioned in my book.'
Harriet handed it to the doc for a look
'I've heard of cases where it was tried,
if you can get the patient on your side.
It's not a silver bullet but worth a go.
It could work, you never know.'
Harriet sat and thought about their date
'Could he get closure for his mate?'
She would speak to Rob,
see what he said
If they could fix his brother's head
She would be more than happy to aid
In helping to make his bad memories fade
