Getting Ready for Baby
Every day brings a new change,
Cravings, moods, clothes to tight;
Worries about how to raise,
A baby just right.
Nursery isn't finished,
So much more to do;
I think it is time,
For shopping with my crew.
A girl's trip to Carson City;
To buy baby stuff.
Need to go soon,
Before the trip gets too rough.
The crib is takin' care of;
Unger said he would be thrilled.
He will craft us a beauty,
His hands are very skilled.
Aunt Sue is working hard
On a beautiful quilt;
Uncle Bubba has the bassinet
Already built.
Thank heavens for AJ and Gyn,
For taking over at the café;
It seems I spend less time there
Each and every day.
Lorne is just amazing,
Seeing to my every need.
He is going to be a great dad,
My knight on his shining steed.
So much is going to change,
With this new blessing,
I just need to keep myself,
From stressing...
