His face scowled,
But I caught a sly grin;
"Myna you'll be the death of me...
Okay, okay...you win."
"We will be fine, my love,
Rue will make sure of it.
CG and Gyn are coming too,
Along with Bella and Miss Harriet."
"I wish you would wait,
Until I can go too,
But how can I say no,
To the likes of you."
"We'll be gone only three days,
Billy should be with us,
Upon our return.
I sent a telegraph to the ornery ol' cuss.
The day after next,
Is when we're set to head out,
I will miss you my darling,
Of that have no doubt."

We all meet at the café,
Little Ron is on the ball.
Lace and CM are hitched,
Rue is getting Sixstar from his stall.
Aunt Sue packed a basket,
Full of warm muffin treats.
With our bags all loaded,
The ladies take their seats.
Lorne kisses me softly,
Holding my face in his hands;
Then he drops to his knee,
Right where he stands.
"Hey little man, this is your pa,
You stay safe in there
and be good to your ma."
Lorne helps me in the wagon,
On his face a forced smile.
Rue deftly rides up,
"Don't you worry, I'll be with them every mile."
