Rue finally got into town.
The place was a buzz
Something big had gone down.
Good Lord why was it
Every time she leaves this place
Something terrible happens
She needs to face
She stopped the wagon
In front of the hotel
There was blood on the step.
OH HELL!
She jumped down running
Screaming his name
The place had no customers
She felt insane.
"RONAN! RONAN WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"I'm right here, Rue!"
She threw her arms around him,
to frightened to care.
He held her, she was shaking,
"Rue what's this about?"
"There is blood on the stair."
"There was a shoot out Dirk Wyler and his crew.
I was cleaning up the glass upstairs from the window
Which Brody broke through."
She remembered the bodies Brody had in the cart
"Is everyone alright?"
"It was one hell firefight.
Brody and Buck are doing just fine
The Sheriff was shot
He'll heal but it'll take some time."
"Speaking of being shot..."
Billy leaned in the doorway.
Ronan still held Rue in his arms
If looks could kill
Ronan knew he'd be dead today.

"I need your help to get Billy to my room."
"I got this...?" Billy said,
but his strength left him all too soon.
His knees buckled
He would have crumpled to the floor.
But Rue got to him before
His world went black once more.
Suddenly all boss again.
Rue looked right at Ronan.
Saying, "Well! What the hell
are you waiting for?"
