Shopping and Fretting
Rue left our company,
As our wagon stuck to the road.
There was only a moment of pause and concern,
Before, again, the giggles and gossip flowed.
What are you up to Rue?
Just about dinner time,
County came into sight;
We headed straight to the hotel,
Before we ran out of daylight.
What am I going to tell Billy?
We decide to stay in,
Have dinner then off to bed.
We'll make it an early morning,
For all the shopping to do ahead.
How will I ever get to sleep?

First stop in the morning,
Is to see Billy and explain about Rue;
But the deputy on duty says he's gone,
When he'll be back, he has no clue.
Now Billy is gone too!!
Some concerns fall over our group,
In the light of Rue's premonition.
We decide there's no way to help,
So, we continue with our shopping expedition.
Should I message Lorne or 3Gun....?
Diapers and bottles and bolts of cloth,
Are bought and sent to the hotel;
Dresses, shoes and a book or two,
Were added to the haul as well.
Something's wrong, I can just feel it!
No shop was missed,
As laughter and secrets were shared.
Then with a good night's sleep,
For the return trip, we prepared.
Still no word....
