"No, I'm only halfway and I've a writer's block at the moment" Bailey replied
"I already gave you a few extra months, we said July yesterday in the statement, thankfully it's not send yet so we could change it to October, now you will have till October first to finish writing so it's in stores by Halloween" Manuel told her
"Why the rush? I'm the author so I decide when I'm done with my book, you can't force the creativity to write, it is not a button you can switch on or off when you need it" Bailey explained
"But you agreed to release a book this year" Manuel reminded her
"That was before my husband died!" Bailey replied
"Isn't that like a year ago? Why don't you use those emotions to motivate you to finish your book?" Manuel mentioned
"It's eight months ago, exactly eight months today" Bailey answered "And might I remind you I write horror not romance, well there's romance but mostly horror" She reminded Manuel
"Just be done with the book by October first" Manuel told her before getting up from his chair and walking out of the door of the restaurant
"Who's the fancy suit guy?" Desmond asked stepping into the office "Are you replacing Veronica? Oh my god why?" He asked
"What? No! That asshole with the fancy suit my publ- co-worker at the editor's company" Bailey answered quickly correcting herself
"He wants to edit for the author's you're editing for?" Desmond asked
