"Nothing will change ok? I don't even want to know who that other guy is or was" Veronica told her father and hugged him
"I can't believe she never told me, I loved her so much, you know she didn't even want kids and I wanted as many as biologically possible so we settled for one child" Liam sighed
"I know, everytime I asked for a brother or sister mom told me the same old story how she didn't want kids but agreed to have one because you wanted a whole army of kids" Veronica mentioned
"And then I find out my only child, my beautiful smart little girl isn't even my child" Liam shook his head and sighed
"For me you'll always be my dad, you taught me everything about the bussines aspect of the restaurant world, you teached me how to walk, talk and drive a car" Veronica reminded him
"Remember you crashed that old thing? You floored the gas instead of using the breaks" Liam smiled
"In my defense it was the first time I sat at the driver's seat" Veronica smiled "And I was like fourteen not sixteen" She added
"But you knew how to drive a car by the time you were fifteen so you passed the driver's exam right away when you were sixteen" Liam remembered
"All thanks to you" Veronica mentioned "You haven't met Michael yet, have you?" She asked
"No, last time Fiona went to the states I was busy starting up the new food truck bussines in Honululu" Liam answered
"She told me, I'll go find Michael so you can meet him" Veronica mentioned
"Wait, are you sure this time?" Liam asked looking at the ring on his daughter's finger
"Yes, I've never been so sure about anything" Veronica answered
"Good, I'd like to meet the guy that's marrying my little girl" Liam replied
"Honey your mother won't stop calling me she's even sending texts telling me to tell you to call her back" Michael mentioned making his way to Veronica who was about to find him since he was in the at home office
"Ugh I don't want to talk to her, she lied to me my entire life" Veronica sighed "Anyway I'd like you to meet my father" She mentioned and introduced both men to each other
"Just ignore Fiona, her phone will die at some point" Liam mentioned once he shook hands with Michael
"Her flight from Honululu won't arrive until midnight and by the time she rented a car and arrives at the gate it's probably three or four AM" Michael answered
