The next day
"Ok just pull it like a bandaid" Veronica mentioned looking away while Michael sat down next to her on the couch
"Ok, don't slap me if this hurts" Michael told her and gently but firmly pulled the bandaid like dressing from Veronica's side, revealing the stitches
"Fuck" Veronica cursed "Is it red or swollen?" She asked, still not looking at her side
"No it's ok I guess, there's no dried blood and it looks like its healing properly for as far as I can tell" Michael answered
"Ok, well just cover the stitches again, please" Veronica replied "I can't look at it" she added
"Sure" Michael answered and ripped the new dressing open before gently placing it over the stitches
"Thank you, you're more gentle than the nurses at the hospital" Veronica mentioned
"Oh...well you're welcome" Michael replied
"Um...when is the restaurant open again?" Veronica asked
"Next week, after the weekend" Michael answered
"Oh....I was wondering if i could....go back to see where it happened" Veronica mentioned
"Do you want to go now?" Michael asked
"Yes...or is that too much to ask" Veronica replied
"No...but uh wouldn't it be traumatic?" Michael asked
"Probably, but I've to go back one day, right?" Veronica mentioned

An hour later,
Michael, Veronica and Bailey met at the restaurant, to check the place for the first time after the whole incident and also to both be there for Veronica
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Bailey asked while Michael unlocked the doors
"Yes" Veronica nodded
"If it's too much we can leave, ok?" Bailey assured her
"Ok" Veronica replied and took a deep breathe before she stepped inside the restaurant, followed by Bailey and Michael "Everything here still hasn't changed, just like I left it" Veronica mentioned looking around the dining area and fixed the salt and pepper holder on a table or two, making sure its exactly in the middle of the table like the other tables
"Is this shock or really part of the job discription?" Bailey asked Michael
"The perfectionist inside who is fixing other's mistakes" Michael answered
"Yes, I've told the staff a zillion times I want the pepper and salt holder in the middle not on the side" Veronica mentioned and made their way back to them
"Ok I'll write it down" Bailey replied
"No nee-" Veronica began and froze a little at the sight of the bar having a flashback of that night and shook her head "Sorry what was I saying?" She asked
"You really want to continue here?" Michael asked her, noticing she froze a little at the sight of the bar
"Yes, I have to" Veronica told him "Can we go to the back now? I need to know if I'm able to go into the office" she continued
"And if you can't that's ok too" Both Michael and Bailey assured her
"No it won't be ok if I can't go in there" Veronica replied while the three of them made their way to the back
