A few days later, July 27 1991 (Family day/ Joe Jackson day)
Michael, Veronica and Fiona had moved to the Ranch the day after the incident at the restaurant earlier in the week
Bailey who was also at the Ranch moved into one of the bungalows instead of the mainhouse to concentrate on her writing and finishing up her book that needed to be in the stores by Halloween
Due to Bailey being busy with writing, Veronica and Fiona catching up and Michael taking care of the last minute things for today Bailey didn't know about Michael and Veronica dating for now
"What time is everyone arriving?" Bailey asked Michael while she (Bailey), Michael, Veronica and Fiona were in the kitchen at the mainhouse having breakfast
"By noon everyone should be here" Michael answered
"Desmond just called me he just left too and he'll be here by noon too" Bailey mentioned
"Are your parents coming too?" Michael asked her
"No they're in Vegas this weekend, visiting friends of them" Bailey answered
"Are you family too? How do you know Michael and his family again?" Fiona asked Bailey since she barly saw her since the first day
"My late husband Matthew he was sort of raised by Michael's parents since he was sixteen when he lost his own parents, when he met me and said he'd take me to a family day to meet his family, then I met the Jackson family, of course I had met Michael already since they were best friends and practically brothers" Bailey told her
"And you're practically our sister ever since Matty brought you home" Janet, who arrived before everyone else mentioned stepping into the kitchen and hugged Bailey before she hugged Michael "By the way I saw you closed the restaurant, why? I thought business was going well at the restaurant" she mentioned
"It's closed for now, it'll be temporary tho" Michael told her
"Why?" Janet asked again
"We need a new chef, the old one is fired and soon he'll be in Jail too" Michael answered
"For serving bad food?" Janet asked jokingly
"No attempted murder, twice and stealing money from the safe" Veronica answered
"Woah wait what?" Janet gasped, she didn't expect that
"Remember I told you about the stabbing in January where they stole the money too" Michael reminded his little sister
"Yes?" Janet nodded
"Earlier this week he admitted it was him and he wanted to finish the job mainly because he was jealous of me, he felt like he deserved my job" Veronica explained
"Wow" Janet shook her head "Did they find him?" She asked
"Yes he was caught that night trying to leave the country with using a fake ID" Michael replied
"I'm glad they caught him" Fiona added

A few hours later,
Most of the Jackson family and Desmond arrived and was catching up with each other and enjoying the food Veronica had hired a caterer for minus a few snacks she, her mother and Michael made the night before
While Michael and Veronica sat together once Janet introduced Fiona to the others who wondered who she was and Bailey was catching up with Marlon and La Toya, Katherine and Joseph made their way to them
