Atleast that's what Bailey always thought until it happened to her

Michael was busy at the studio all day, writing and producing ideas for his new album and Veronica was getting bored at the Pasadena residence while Bailey was at the restaurant, listening to complaints or questions of the staff members who weren't happy with having to do a lot of things themselves now Veronica isn't availble at the moment
"OH my goodness you all do realize she's one person not an entire army, you all can do a thing or two extra instead of Veronica having to do all your things on top of her own stuff" Bailey told them before sending everyone back to work
"Mrs Clarke?" One of the waitresses asked knocking on the door
"Yes?" Bailey sighed
"The new waitress outfits have finally arrived, what do we do with the old ones?" The waitress asked
"Pick your new one and bring the old one here and sign your name on the form Veronica made earlier, that way everyone has a new outfit and the administration is up to date too" Bailey answered
"Ok I'll tell the others" the waitress replied and left
"Not even noon and I despratly need a break" Bailey sighed seeing the clock on the wall that read 10:57 AM

Around 4 PM Desmond, Bailey's younger brother entered the restaurant to start the late shift
"Hey you're ba- Oh hey sis" Desmond smiled joining her in the office, expecting Veronica to be at the office already

"You expected Veronica?" Bailey asked raising her brow at her younger brother
"No....well you're at her desk" Desmond replied matter-of-factly
"Because I told you I'm filling in till her wound is healed" Bailey reminded him
"But her parents are in Hawaii and her ex is engaged to his pregnant side chick now, so where is she staying?" Desmond asked
"At Michael's" Bailey answered wondering why her brother knew all that
"Damn, I want to vacation at the Ranch too" Desmond replied
"Michael's place in Pasadena not the Ranch" Bailey informed him "And Veronica is not vacationing she is recovering" she reminded him
"Seriously, I'd pick the motherflipping Ranch to recover not the lame one and a half room apartment in Pasadena" Desmond mentioned
"Have you even been to the Ranch yet?" Bailey asked
"Yes! Once, you and Matt were staying a weekend there and I visited you guys, sadly I had to leave Sunday afternoon because I had school Monday morning" Desmond reminded his sister "I only saw half of the zoo" he sighed
