The next morning, March 17th 1991
The first one to wake up was Michael, finding Veronica asleep on his chest with the notebook and pen between them, poking in his side and her head on his chest, on his other side Bailey had her head on his shoulder and her body wrapped around his arm
"Um girls" he mentioned hoping they were awake so they could untangle themselves from him so they all could have breakfast, shower and dress in fresh clothes "Bailey? Veronica?"
"No I'm tired" Veronica responded in her sleep and buried her face further in his chest
"Veronica, hey you're awake?" Michael asked since he already knew Bailey was a deep sleeper, she could sleep trough an earthquick
"Fine, just make it quik" Veronica sighed and opened her eyes "Michael!?" She gasped shocked
"Yes who else?" Michael asked raising his brow at her
"Um nobody" Veronica blushed looking down
"That idiotic manwhore you were engaged to?" Michael asked
"Um..No...I...ok, yes I thought it was Nigel wanting sex on my day off" Veronica sighed
"And your reply is just make it quick?" Michael asked frowning at her while he managed to free his arm from Bailey's grip when she rolled over on her other side, still sleeping
"In my defense we were together for fifteen years and the last few years sex felt more like a task, it wasn't as 'exciting' and passionate as in the beginning" Veronica mentioned "Wait why am I telling you this?" She asked herself
"Because you also told me to make it quick" Michael smirked at her
"I'm not going to have sex with my boss" Veronica told him
"And I'm not going to have sex with my employee" Michael told her

Once the three of them were freshly showered and dressed in fresh clothes, the girls wearing a white t-shirt from Michael and Bailey a Jeans from Janet she left at Michaels and Veronica wearing a bussiness style skirt that probably once belonged to LaToya but was according to her out of style so she 'forgot' to take it back with her
"Don't you have a skirt like that yourself?" Bailey asked seeing Veronica wearing a skirt while she was brushing her hair
"Mine's are a little longer, like under the knee and this one is just above the knee" Veronica replied and put the brush back in her handbag before tying her hair in a neat bun while Bailey finished making a pony tail in her own hair
"Are you girls ready to go to Pasedena? I'll be going to LA but you can borrow the black Mercedes" Michael mentioned while he finished buttoning up his red button down shirt and handed the keys to the Mercedes to Veronica
"I will go to the fire department to thank them and to get a report on the damage for my insurance company before I'll visit the insurance company to see if they'll pay me something to invest in a new place and later I'll stop by at the restaurant" Bailey explained
"In that case, you can borrow the other Mercedes or the SUV if you like" Michael replied
"Other Mercedes?" Both girls asked
"I have the same one in Silver too, I got a two for one deal and the SUV is for when the chef needs to some shopping for when I have a bunch of guests or family day here at the Ranch" Michael explained throwing a set keys Bailey's direction too
