A few days later, October 10th 1991

Veronica was busy decorating the restaurant for Halloween and making the new holiday themed menus with the chefs, they'd renamed dishes to fit the theme, a steak with red wine sauce was renamed to a vampires desire and a meatloaf was made to look like brains and renaned to a zombies dinner

"What we do with the alcohol? We'd rename them too?" Desmond asked

"No, but bloody Mary's, tomato juice with vodka or is it wodka? are the drink of the day so I made sure we've enough ingredients for them and a non alcoholic version for the kids and people that don't want alcohol, only that's with strawberry juice mixed with apple juice" Veronica mentioned

"That's a cool idea" Desmond smiled "What about the waiting staff? Are they dressing up to fit the theme too?" He asked

"Oh, that's a good idea" Veronica replied

--- Meanwhile,

"Can I see that one too?" Michael asked the jewellier store owner that had closed the doors for the rest of potential customers as long as Michael and his security was there

"It's a very expensive one of a kind clear perfectly cut diamond ring" The store owner mentioned and picked it up to hand it it to Michael

"So it's special? Well the woman that it is for is very special too" Michael replied

"Yes very special" The store owner nodded

"I'll take it, I'd also like to add matching earrings and necklace to it, do you think that's possible?" Michael asked

"Well..but yes of course" The shocked store owner gasped, he was going to make a year's worth of profit in one day he thought

Once everything was payed for and put in a bag Michael left the store and made his way to Clarke's kitchen

"Veronica, are you ok?" Desmond gasped when Veronica felt dizzy and almost fainted

"Yea, I just need to eat something" Veronica answered and sat down at her desk still feeling somewhat dizzy

"I'll get you a sandwich and some coffee" Desmond mentioned

"Thank you" Veronica replied and softly rubbed her stomach once he was out of the room "I'm sorry little one, I was just so busy I forgot to feed you" She sniffed

"Here's your sandwich, it's a pulled chicken one with extra sauce" Desmond mentioned putting the plate on Veronica's desk "And a double espresso, extra dark, just how you like it" he added and put it on the desk too

"Thanks" Veronica replied and took a bite of her pulled chicken sandwich

"If you need me I'm at the bar, ok?" Desmond mentioned

"Ok" Veronica replied and continued her sandwhich

An hour later,

While Veronica was busy doing administration work and calling a few suppliers Michael arrived at the restaurant and made his way to the office

"Hey busy bee, you're too busy for me?" Michael asked

"Of course not, but aren't you supposed to be at the studio, putting the finishing touches to your new album?" Veronica replied and sweetly kissed him

"Probably, but I was doing something way more important" Michael mentioned holding her close

"Is Bailey back in the states and you picked her up at the airport?" Veronica asked
