"How dare you showing up out of the blue and on my wedding day after you went to who knows where for a month" Michael told him, he was about done with people trying to ruin his wedding day, first Desmond and now Joseph too?
"I'm not welcome at my own son's wedding now?" Joseph asked
"That's not the point, you dissapeared a month ago and now you show up like nothing happened" Michael reminded him
"The past it the past, do you really want to talk about that now? It's your wedding day after all" Joseph replied
"So um who wants cake? It's a raspberry cheesecake decorated with whipped cream and fresh raspberries and there's a champagne with raspberries and a raspberry smoothie for the non alcoholic drink alongside regular sodas and water and also diffrent wines too and beer" Veronica mentioned, turning into her hostes role, to get everyone to focus on something else and hopefully to stop the drama on her wedding day that will cause stress and stress is not good for the baby "Please eat, drink and enjoy yourselves" she added
"Yes, follow me to the bar" Matthew mentioned, helping Veronica and also hoping to avoid Joseph, he didn't know how to feel about him, on one side he was always in his life but on the other hand he wasn't much like a dad, more like the annoyed neighbor
Once most people left to the outside bar by the pool to get some drinks and some cheesecake, jump in the pool or chat with one another the groom and the grooms parents stayed behind by the altar while Veronica waited for her husband by the house
"Why, just why? Why'd you lie, leave, cheat and inpregnate the neighbor who was my friend or so I thought, for how long did you sleep with her? Did Jacob know?" Katherine asked her husband
"Did you know Matthew was your son since day one?" Michael asked
"No I did not know until last month and Sheila and I we kind of always were on and off, Jacob worked long days and you were always busy with the kids but we broke up when Sheila got pregnant, she said she could no longer go behind her husband's back now there's a newborn on the way, she honestly thought Jacob was the father of the kid" Joseph explained
"Oh so it was ok for her you had a wife and kids and also one on the way" Katherine shook her head
"She did feel guilty about it because she truly saw you as her friend, she didn't befriend you to get to me" Joseph answered
"Did you love her?" Katherine asked
"Does it matter?" Joseph asked
"Just answer the question, did you love Sheila?" Michael replied "You did love her didn't you?" he asked shaking his head when his father didn't reply
"Fine! Yes I did, yes I loved her and yes it hurt when she 'broke up' with me" Joseph answered
"Did you love her more than you ever loved me?" Katherine asked, with tears in her eyes
"No, I love you more than anyone" Joseph told her
"Yet you did get two other women we know of pregnant behind your wife's back" Michael reminded him
"Watch what you say" Joseph warned him
"No he's right You did break my heart many times and getting two other women pregnant behind my back and one of them was my dear friend, I can't understand why you would do that to me but also claim to love me" Katherine told him
"I don't know why I had those affairs either" Joseph sighed
"Marriage counselor" Michael coughed
"I ain't telling some random so called brain doctor my so called problems" Joseph shook his head
"So you do have commitment problems, you just admitted that" Katherine replied
"No Katie, I don't have any problems" Joseph shook his head at her
"I think you do have commitment and anger issues" Michael mentioned
"How dare you, you good for nothing, wouldn't be anywhere without me little shit" Joseph snapped at him
"Perfect example right there" Michael replied
"You wouldn't even be here if Marlon did have his twin brother" Joseph glared at him
"Joseph" Katherine gasped
"What it's true! You were sad and crying the whole time so I comforted you and a little while later you were pregnant with Michael" Joseph rolled his eyes
"Ok that's enough, leave my property" Michael glared at Joseph
"The property you own because of me" Joseph mentioned
"Do I have to repeat myself? I said leave" Michael told him
"Katie you let that boy talk to me like that?" Joseph asked
"You got ten seconds to leave voluntary or you'll be escorted out of here and banned until I feel like you learned your lesson" Michael told him and hit send on his phone to have the security remove him
"Are you really banning your own father?" Joseph asked shaking his head
"And I'm not even feeling the slightest bit of sorry" Michael answered "Make sure he leaves and doesn't have a key to this property" He told the two security guards that arrived
"Sir, this way please" They told Joseph
"You're pathetic, I should disown you" Joseph shook his head at Michael and followed the guards
"Do that, see if I care" Michael replied
"I'm sorry he said those things to you" Katherine told her son and wrapped her arms around him
"Where's Veronica?" Michael asked
"She's waiting for you by the house so you both could arrive by the pool as husband and wife" Katherine answered
"Ok, you should go to the pool area too, I'm sure Liam and Fiona want to chat with you and the grandchildren want to talk with their Nana too and you know Toya probably wants to compliment your dress and Janet probably wonders if you made any food and where she could find it" Michael mentioned
"I know, do not let your fathers words get to you, ok?" Katherine mentioned to him "You are my child too and I love you, you're the reason I didn't give up on life, I was depressed until you came into my life, you gave me a reason to smile again, never forget that" She told him and hugged him before she made her way to the family by the pool area
"Are you ok? I saw they escorted your father out" Veronica asked and wrapped her arms around him
"Let's go somewhere, just you and me and no drama" Michael mentioned
"Where? We can't fly somewhere" Veronica reminded him and placed his hand on her baby bump
"I don't care, I'm just done with everyone trying to ruin our day, first Desmond then Joseph, who's next? Your ex or mines, that's all we miss an upset ex and our day is officially ruined" Michael replied
"The day isn't completly ruined" Veronica mentioned taking his hand in hers "See those rings?" she asked
"Yea" Michael nodded
"It means I'm yours and you're mine, so fuck the things everyone else has to say, feel or think about it, they are irrelevant to us, they're not in our marriage, we are" Veronica told him
"Don't teach the baby curse words yet" Michael smiled at her and sweetly kissed her "But you're right, let's ignore the negative people and focus on the postive ones, they're ones that matter" he mentioned
"Exactly" Veronica smiled
