Heroes of Olympus - Blood of Olympus epilogue

It was dinner time at Camp Half-Blood when it happened. Campers stared in amazement as a bronze metal dragon came into view, roaring flames loudly and flapping its giant bronze wings proudly.

"Is that..." Jason stood up, squinting at the two figures seated on top of the dragon. "...Leo?" Other campers stared in wonder as the dragon landed and the two figures jumped off. A boy with curly brown hair and a cheeky grin jogged over, followed by a girl wearing a Greek-style sleeveless dress.

"Hey guys," Leo said casually, as if he'd just come back from a quick trip to McDonalds.

"Leo!" He was engulfed by a hug from Jason, followed by Percy, Annabeth and Piper. Nico stood off to the side, gaping at Leo.

"But...how? I felt him die, I'm sure of it." Nico muttered to himself. Leo grinned, and shrugged.

"It sorta felt like I was dead as well. Then I crash landed." Leo took this as an opportunity to introduce Calypso to the others. Calypso's face was hard as she looked at Percy, her delicate features wrinkled in annoyance. Percy shuffled his feet and avoided Calypso's gaze. No one commented on the two.

"She's been away from modern times for quite awhile, so let's show her a good time!" Leo whooped, uncaring of the campers that stared at him and whispered.

"You might want to disassemble your dragon first." Percy pointed at Festus, who was dripping motor oil from his mouth onto the grass, making it splatter every where.

"No problem." Leo walked over and pressed a button. In moments, Festus was no more than a suitcase. The world's heaviest one anyway.

"Reminds you of Sonoma, doesn't it?" Jason looked over at Piper and smiled. Her kaleidoscope eyes were a mixture of sadness, but at the same time, happiness. She had missed Leo a lot, and had spent endless nights worrying about him.

Now all was safe and done. The demigods were in one piece. The camps were united, and Leo had finally returned, no longer a seventh wheel.

Seven half-bloods shall answer the call

To storm or fire, the world must fall

An oath to keep with a final breath

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death
