The Contract

Taking over

Because of my marriage to Bella, it states In the contract that If anything was to happen to Emiliano I was to take over his businesses and his side of the mafia. So I now run both the north and south side. I asked Bella's oldest brother Emilio if he wanted to be more involved with the business but he chose not to.

He will still be a made man and he will still work for me and be involved but he chooses not to take over. It has been a few days and I have left Bella to think over what she wants to do. Now that Mr Russo is gone she has a lot to think about. Her sisters and brothers are still staying at there family home although we won't know who gets what of Emiliano and his wife's possessions until today when we meet with there family lawyer.

As I walk up the stairs and to our room I am tired. It has been endless meetings and worries since Emiliano's death because it was not Regnante. He would never do something so careless and so soon after what I did to him a few weeks ago. So now we have a new enemy and we have no idea who it is. For all, I know they could be after Bella next which means she has to have guards with her at all times.

I enter and see she is sitting on the lounge chair overlooking the views from our window. She looks peaceful and as I walk towards her she turns to look at me. She gives me a light smile and I lean down and press my lips against hers. It's soft and sweet and as I pull away she rises. "How was your day?" She says whilst walking into the bathroom.

"It's been stressful but with the work, I do what can you expect?" I say whilst taking my tie.

I hear water running and I pour my self a drink and walk towards our bathroom. When I enter I see Bella is sitting in the bath naked as the water runs into the tub. I must say I have never seen a prettier sight. "Bella what are you doing?" I say.

"I am simply giving you some stress relief husband," She says a smile coming to her lips.

I sit on the side of the tub and me down my whiskey. I place the glass on the vanity and I grab her hand. "Bella are you sure I know we haven't been close since the baby and I don't want you to feel forced?" I say even though I want nothing more than to have my wife.

"I don't feel forced Luca, you are my husband and I am your wife this is what we are supposed to do I do not blame you or hate you for what happened to our child It was those people who ambushed the house and who shot me it is their fault and I know you made them suffer I know that is what your doing in Milan I am not stupid I am grateful I just hope they suffered as I did I love you Luca and I want this marriage to work as right now it's the only thing I have left" She says.

"I love you Bella and just so you know I did make them suffer and I would do it again because no one hurts you and gets away with it," I say in response. With that, I begin to undress and I slowly get in the tub.

Water flows out but we just laugh and talk. I don't tell her about all of my business I simply can't but I tell her about what I can. We also agree that she will become my secretary. She has been wanting a job for a while now as she wanted to be independent so we agreed on it.

She smiles at me and I feel happier than I ever have in my twenty-five years of life. She leans forward and places her hands on my chest. She slowly kisses up my neck to my jawline. I grab her hips and move her forward so she's straddling me. I place my hand around her throat and squeeze gently resulting in a moan coming from her lips.

"Do you like that my little Bella?" I say.

"I do like it squeeze harder," She says and I rise out of the tub taking her with me.
