I wake up to a loud knocking on my door. I squint my eyes at the bright sunlight. I look at my watch. 6 AM. Great. 2 hours of sleep. I sigh and walk up to the door. Opening it, I'm met with a woman. "Oh... Hello."

"The Allfather has requested your presence before breakfast. Would you like me to help you prepare?"

"I-... I guess?" I allow her into my room. She walks in and heads straight through the doorway I didn't even see until now. I follow her out of curiosity. There's a golden tub in the middle of the room. It's a bathroom. She begins prepping a bath for me. Soon, I climb into it. I close my eyes, relaxing in the hot water. I feel hands in my hair, causing me to jump.

The woman lowers her head. "I am so very sorry, miss."

"It's... okay. It's fine. I've got it from here. I would like to bathe alone."

"Alright. Have you prepared an outfit?"

"I don't have any dresses. Is this a formal event?"

She walks out of the bathroom and walks back in, holding a handful of dresses. "The Allfather has sent you a few dresses."

A dark blue one catches my eye. "I quite like that one." I point to it.

"Good choice, miss."

Soon after cleansing myself, I dismiss the woman. Wrapped in a towel, I look at the dress and shoes laid out for me. There's a knock on my door. I walk over to it, pulling it open. I see Loki standing there. He looks at me and abruptly covers his eyes. "M-My apologies."

I look down at the towel. "Oh! So sorry. One moment." I grab the dress and run into the bathroom. I swiftly pull the dress on. I hold the skirt of the dress up as I walk back to the door. "You can uncover your eyes now," I let out a small laugh. He lowers his hand before relaxing. "To what do I owe the visit?"

"Your parents possessions. They are here," he looks to the side and I hear the scurrying of feet. I watch as a handful of women bring in various things.

"Oh. Thank you." He turns to leave, but I stop him. "Prince Loki!" He turns back to me. "I was requested for breakfast, but I don't know the way."

He sighs and gestures me to follow. "Come along then."

Odin wanted to speak to me about becoming a Citizen of Asgard. It was decided that it would be announced at a grand dinner. They'll take any excuse to celebrate, according to Loki. As I go to leave, I bump into Thor. "So sorry, Prince Thor."

He laughs softly, "It is not a bother, Eldrid Iverdottir." Wow... Another attractive prince.

"Uhm... Do you mind showing me a place for me to do my studies? My room is quite... Lonely. Not enough books."

He smiles fondly as if I reminded him of something. "Yes. Allow me to escort you?" He holds out his arm. I smile and loop mine through his. "So, what exactly is it you study?"

"Science. Simply put, I study space and energy."

"Not magic?"

I laugh softly. "Not magic. My favorite is the stars."

"Those are magic."

I shake my head, "Maybe here, on Asgard, they're considered magic, but on Earth, it's science. We use it to explain what we don't understand. What is it you do?"

"I'm an warrior."

"That's right! Lo-Prince Loki said you'd be assisting me with my training."

"That is correct."
