"I don't think a sword is very efficient against automatic weapons, you guys!" I fall to the ground, my amour sliding against the snow.
"SHIT!" Tony yells in my ear.
"Language. JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."
Thor lands right beside me, defeating the guys that took me over. "Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last."
I jump up. "Thanks for the save." I grab one of the guns off the guard. I take a shot, but the kick back is stronger than anticipated. "Holy moly."
"Long last is lasting a little long, boys," Natasha says.
"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise," Barton adds.
"Wait a sec. No one is gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?"
"I know. It just slipped out."
I let out a laugh. "I thought it was cute," I laugh again, shooting a guy in the knee.
"Dri, can you do your Harry Potter thing and get in there?" Tony says to me.
"One, the wizards in Harry Potter don't teleport." I take another guy down. "Two, I can only travel to places I can see."
"Can't you get inside their heads?" Cap asks.
"That leads me to number three: I can only get inside people's heads that I've met. So no. I can't teleport in there."
"What's the point of having a wizard, then?" Tony asks.
"Rude. Also, I'm not a wizard. And, you have me for this." I teleport around the forest, grabbing enemy guns. I duck under Cap's shield as it flies over me.
I watch as Barton gets shot. "CLINT!" I hear Natasha yell.
"We have an enhanced on the field."
I go to teleport to the bunker to stop it, but something, more like someone, speeds by, knocking me down. "He's fast!" I say before actually teleporting to the gun. "But I'm faster," I say to myself with a smirk. I try to find the controls on top of the gun, but I'm cut off.
"Someone wanna deal with that bunker."
I hear Hulk roar. I look up to see the green man running at me. "Oh jeez!" I get away just in time.
"Thank you."
"Stark, we really need to get inside."
"I'm closing in." I watch as the shield falls. "The drawbridge is down."
I continue fighting. "Funny how the Chitauri are weaker than a bunch of humans," I say to the guard as I pull his arm to me and stomp on his leg, breaking it.
"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac."
"I can get Barton on the jet." I teleport to Nat. "The sooner we're gone, the better. You and Stark secure the scepter."
"Need a hand?" I ask the redhead.
She nods. "Help me apply pressure." I nod as well, pushing on the wound just enough to stop the bleeding. "Stay. I've got your cover."
"Hey, buddy," I smile at Barton.
I block out everything, staying focused on getting Barton on the jet. "Yeah... I've got something bigger," Tony says.
