I'm at Catherine's place sitting on the couch watching "Safe Haven" movie on Netflix and sipping the world's best coffee made by her. She sat opposite me on the couch eating her cereal.
"Ahem," I cleared my throat to get her attention and she slowly looked at me and asked, "what you want now, sis?"
"Nothing at the moment, I just want to invite you for tonight's award function."
"Why?"
"Well, I'm getting awarded for the best editor in chief."
"Wow, congratulations, sis. So happy and proud of you." She replied while hugging me tightly.
"Can't breathe, Cat." I joked.
She apologized and moved back a bit and sat next to me.
"Here is the invitation card," I said while passing the card to her.
She returned back with a smile while checking out the invitation card.
Later, we continued watching the movie.
After two and a half hours the movie got over showing credits.
Suddenly Cat asked, "Sis, I miss your chocolate chip cookies. Can you teach me?"
"Sure, why not?"
Then we both headed to her kitchen and started making the cookies.
After two and a half hours, we finished making the cookies.
And again sat on the couch and selected another movie on Netflix.
We are watching "A Walk To Remember" movie.
I love every bit of the movie. But the climax part of the movie is very devastating and unhappy.
I don't know every time I watch any sad or heart-touching movie I start crying.
I feel the habit of crying when I see any emotional scene.
"Sis, not again," Catherine said while rolling her eyes.
"Huh!?"
She stood in front of me and wiped my tears.
Seriously till now, I was crying. My inner voice said.
