(Shawn's POV)

"Hey Shawn, Brian! Over here!" I saw my friends waving at me from across the field. I waved back. Me and my best friend Brian jogged over to them. "Hey man, how was camp? You were gone like all summer!" My friend Allen clapped me on the back.

"Good, Good, how about you man?" I smiled.

"Well, it was good until yesterday, when Jack locked us in his room for the whole day until his dad could come with a crowbar!" Allen looked accusingly at Jack behind him. I laughed at my friends. Then, out of the corner of the eye I saw someone staring at me. I turned around and saw a girl. She had turned her head because her friend had said something to her, but then she looked at me again. She saw I was looking at her and rushed inside, pulling her friend after her. Actually I think I recognized the girl, from summer camp. Summer, a junior. I wondered why she kept looking at me. I looked at the doors she had just disappeared through for another moment, confused, but then decided to brush it off and turned around to my friends again.

"Guys we should get inside and go to our lockers before the bell rings," I told them, starting to walk off the field. As soon as I got inside I felt two arms wrap around my sides.

     "Hi baby!"

I turned around. "Hi," I leaned down and kissed Alexia, my girlfriend. But something wasn't right when I kissed her. Well, I'd deal with that later. "I need to get to home room but see you at lunch?" She kissed me on the cheek.

     "K, see you!"

I started to walk down the hall when my friends attacked.

     "Ooooooooooohh!"

"So things are still serious with Alexia?"

     "See you!"

"Guys leave me alone, we've been dating for like 6 months already," I brushed them off. We all got our locker assignments from our HR teacher and went to our lockers. Allen's was right next to our home room, mine was at the end of the hallway, and Brain's and Jack's were upstairs. We left Allen and kept walking. Once we got to my locker I said bye to the other guys and turned around. And there she was again. Summer. Our lockers were next to each other. Suddenly, she saw me, and then picked up her stuff and rushed away. I watched her go. I was so confused.

First class was history with Mr. Moore. School has started.
