(Summer's POV)
I fell asleep while we were watching the movie, and Isabel must have gone back down to the party, because she slept really late the next morning. I got up early, got dressed, and packed up as much as I could. Then I just watched some TV on my phone, waiting for Isabel to wake up. When she did, she looked around, jumped out of bed, and said "Oh my god! It's 9:30?! I need breakfast!" She ran out the door then stopped. "Coming?" She asked me.
"Nah, I think I'll stay here where it's safe."
"Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Alright well I'll bring you something," she ran down the stairs and I put my earbuds back in, trying to stop the flow of emotions from last night. A few minutes later a text from Isabel popped up on my screen. It said: Summer, please come down. I don't see Shawn anywhere and I'm stuck with Brian. I shook my head and smiled. I'm sure she wasn't too lonely if that was the case, but I got up and cautiously walked downstairs anyway. Luckily, Brian didn't know what had happened between me and Shawn yet so I could eat breakfast in peace. Sort of. It hurt to see the two of them so happy together, even though I would never tell that to Isabel. I went back upstairs once I had finished breakfast and left the two love birds in the living room. I walked up the stairs tiredly and then opened the door to my room. Or what I thought was my room. In front of me was Shawn, sitting on his bed with his head in his hands, crying. He didn't notice me at first, so I stood there and looked at him. I remembered the song he sang last night. He must have wrote it himself. I wanted to run to him and hold him and comfort him, but I didn't. I started to close the door but it made a creaking noise. Shawn looked up quickly and wiped away his tears.
"I-I'm sorry, wrong room." I turned to go.
"Summer, wait!" Shawn grabbed my hand. I turned back and looked at him sadly. "I know I hurt you, and I regret it every second. But I promise, I will never ever let myself or anyone else hurt you ever again. I really really like you Summer. Please give me a chance."
"Shawn..... I don't know.." I didn't know what to do. I loved him, but I didn't want to be let down again.
"Please," he begged. Their was desperation in his eyes. I couldn't hurt him like that, no matter what. That would break my heart more than anything. I waited for a second.
"One chance, but that's it." He looked relieved. I put my hand on his cheek. "I love you Shawn, so much. But please don't leave me again."
"Summer, I could never leave you," we were now only inches apart. Shawn bit his lip and grinned before leaning down and pressing his lips against mine, slow and long. I pulled away for air and looked into his deep brown eyes, filled with happiness and relief, pain and anger, and also a little bit of mischief. Then he kissed me again, this time a little less gently. Our lips moved in sync, as I ran my fingers through his hair. He sat down on the bed and put me in his lap. His hands were moving all over my body, making me shiver. I felt his lips moving down to my neck and I lifted my chin up, letting out a little sigh. My senses were heightened. I could feel everything. His energy, his soft lips, his hands, now on my hips.
Then we heard someone sneeze behind us. I jerked my head around, to see Brian and Isabel standing in the doorway. Isabel elbowed Brian in the ribs.
"Ow!" He rubbed his side.
"It was just getting good! Why'd you have to sneeze?!" She said, annoyed. I sat down on the bed next to Shawn.
"How long were you guys standing there?" He asked.
"Long enough," Brian grinned. I slapped my palm to my forehead and laughed.
"Next time you're gonna make out, close the door," Isabel smirked. Shawn groaned. "This is so exciting! I knew you guys would get together. When Shawn asked you on this trip I could feel that something would happen." Isabel said excitedly, almost jumping up and down.
"So, you guys going to stay here, and continue sticking your tongues in each other's mouths, or do you want to come downstairs with us?" Brian asked. Leave it to Brian to make anything gross.
I looked at Shawn and he smiled. "We're good here," he didn't take his eyes off me.
"Okay, have fun," Isabel winked at me. They closed the door and Shawn leaned towards me. The Isabel burst back through the door. I sighed and shook my head. "I almost forgot." She walked over to Shawn and pointed he finger at him accusingly. "If you hurt her, I will personally make sure you regret it for the rest of your life, do you understand?" She glared at him.
"Okay, okay, I get it," Shawn put us hands above his head.
Isabel smiled again. "Good." And with that she walked out. Shawn turned toward me.
"So, where were we....."
