Part 16

AN: warning!! There are gonna be dead people in this chapter... have fun reading😘

I woke up, and I am so tired. The other girls aren't in the dorm. Strange. I look at my alarm clock and see that it's only two o'clock in the morning. Damn it. I turn around to lie more comfortable, but I scream in complete terror when I do so. There are two dead bodies hanging up on the ceiling...

I stare at them in shock, screaming frightened. They're completely covered in blood, and I can't tell who they are. Their eyes are staring into nowhere, and I realise who they are. 'No... no no no no no!' I scream, almost begging. I hear someone come in, but I didn't care. 'Laura...' I heard a voice say. I ignored it. I took the bodies down from the ceiling, releasing them from the ropes. 'Laura, they're...' 'NO! They are not dead! They can't leave me!' I yell. I continue to take the ropes off of them. 'They are fine, they are fine, it's gonna be fine...' I try to convince myself. I take my mothers hand, but I pull it away instantly. It was cold as ice. I look at the scene, feeling completely numb. I feel a hand on my shoulder, and as if that was a sign I snapped back to reality. They're gone. They're really gone...

I fall onto my knees, tears all over my face. 'No... no no no please no...' I cried. I buried my face in my hands, as I kept crying and begging for my parents to come back. But they didn't. They didn't move. They weren't breathing. I was shaking over my entire body, crying and feeling sick. I couldn't take it anymore. I started screaming again: 'NO!!! Please just come back, please, I need you!' But they didn't respond. They just stared into nowhere. Not moving. Nothing. I felt someone put me up on my feet, helping me to stand because I could barely stand up on my feet without collapsing. I just stared in front of me, still crying, as I was lead out of the dormitory. 'Out of the way!' I vaguely heard a voice say. 'We need to get her out of here.' It took me a minute to realise I was hyperventilating. Someone put me in a chair and from then everything went black. Before I passed out, I only had one thought on my mind. They're gone...

Ron POV

I woke up in the middle of the night to see Sirius Black standing beside my bed, holding a knife. I caused a commotion, and proffessor McGonnagal came up to the common room. Almost everyone had gotten to the common room by now, questioning me about what happened. She was about to send everyone to the great hall, when we all heard a terrifying scream. Laura... I was about to follow proffessor McGonnagal to the girls dorm together with the other boys and girls, but McGonnagal said 'Stay here. All of you.'

I felt scared. What happened to Laura? We silently waited in the common room, all of us hoping Laura would be okay. It felt like forever before we heard someone get down the stairs. We all turned our heads to the stairs, where we saw McGonnagal together with Laura, who looked like she would pass out any second. She could barely stand on her own, her face was pale and she wouldn't stop crying. She was also hyperventilating, it was really scary. I stood up, helping McGonnagal get her out of the common room, followed by Harry and Hermione. I was so scared. What happened to her? The others looked at the sight in horror. Everyone cares for Laura, and everyone was very shocked.

'Out of the way!' McGonnagal said and everyone made clear a path for us. 'We need to get her out of here,' she said to me. I nod, and together we take her to the Great Hall, McGonnagal magically made a chair appear, and we put Laura in it. The poor girl was still shaken, and not long after she passed out. I looked at proffessor McGonnagal with a what-the-hell-is-going-on-look, and she explained. 'Her parents, they're... dead. You'll hear more about it later.' She says. I look at Laura and than back to the proffessor. 'We should get madame Pomfrey,' I said, worried about Laura. She nodds. She instructs some of the other Griffindors to get madame Pomfrey, proffessor Dumbledore and the other teachers. We waited in silence.

Not much later, proffessor Dumbledore and madame Pomfrey arrive. Madame Pomfrey walks over to Laura whispering things as 'poor girl' and 'can't catch a break'. McGonnagal explains everything to Dumbledore, who has a worried look on his face. I didn't even notice that I was holding her hand, and Harry is holding her other hand. Her hands were covered in blood, but I didn't care. Fred, George and Oliver walk out of the group of Griffindor and walk over to us with worried and scared looks on their faces. 'What happened?' Oliver manages to say. His voice is shaking. My voice is shaking too as I answer. 'Her parents...' I couldn't speak anymore. Tears were rolling down my face, and I could see that I wasn't the only one crying. Hermione was crying too, and all the others were trying very hard to swallow their tears.

A few minutes passed and the other houses, with their heads of houses, walked in. They all had questioning looks on their face, but when they saw Laura they got worried. They all started to whisper to each other. There was a certain Slytherin boy in the crown, whose eyes widened in fear when he saw the girl. He pushed his way over to her, kneeling down before her. 'What's going on with her?' He asked frightened. But no one could bear to answer. Blaise Zabini came over too, looking like he could burst into tears any moment. He didn't ask anything, he just stood there with us, watching Laura.

Third person POV

Everyone felt so sorry for Laura. Even though there were sleeping bags all over the Great Hall, no one actually went to sleep that night. They all stayed awake for Laura. Madame Pomfrey hasn't left her side.

AN: oh merlin! Didn't see that coming, did you? Sorry if you didn't want them to die (well ofcourse you didn't want them to die but you get what I mean) but I needed something to turn up the drama... xx luv u guys!😘💞
