the mix of cold silence and the crisp wind filled the air as he walks into the enclosed garden. the plants were green as ever, accompanied with the vibrant colors of various flowers attached to it. it felt serene. only the sounds of his footsteps were heard as his heavy shoes hit the cemented path.

hands in his pockets, he took slow strides. the look of boredom was evident on the poor boy's face.

the breathtaking view of this garden was nothing to him. despite its alluring charms, it looked like a typical yard in his eyes. it was nothing special.

he couldn't help but sigh at the thought. yet keeping his therapist's words in mind, he continued to walk anyway.

he halts in his tracks, taking the time to look around the surroundings of this big hectare of land. he was taken aback. there no one in sight, it was a small town after all. then, he noticed a few butterflies flapping around the vicinity. they of course looked beautiful as ever, but he looked away.

and so he continued to walk. but he couldn't seem to ignore all the butterflies. soon enough, he realized that there were a lot them. tons. he saw that they were all over the garden.

countless of colors; orange, blue, pink, they were all there. flapping their tiny wings, making the park look more vibrant. guk couldn't help but feel amazed. they were simply beautiful, and it started to make him feel at ease.

he heard the sound of the wind, lashing onto his skin. The feeling was enchanting.

hands still in his pockets, he took a deep inhale. the boy closed his eyes and held his breath, exhaling it in a swift move, like he was lifting away all his worries in life.

as he was slowly gaining the serenity, it was suddenly interrupted. the heavy impact of someone colliding into jeongguk immediately washed away all the relaxation from moments ago.

"oops— sorry!" the stranger who bumped into him shouted as she ran.

enraged was what he felt. not only did she disrupt his silence, but he found her behavior utterly and downright rude. the nuisance she had caused him was too much for a little sorry. all she did was mutter a quick apology and ran away, not even looking at him in the eye.

"hey—! come back here!" he shouted with a face full of anger, disrupting the park's silence with his yell, yet she didn't take a spare second to look back. there was no use to run after her. all he could do was watch her with eyes of rage as she ran into the distance.
