his name rings through his ears and a familiar voice is heard.

"hyungs?"

he glances at the pair of tall men by the door. not a second passes by and he was certain it was them.

"jeongguk-ah!" the two exclaim at the sight of their precious friend. the younger runs to them with open arms and ties them into one big embrace for three. a smile akin to the sun beams on the boy's face and the two are left in question.

was this jeongguk? the same lovesick boy?

nevertheless they greet each other with warm smiles, jumping around like children. it was the three's reunion for the first time in several months.

nari stood still from the counter, watching the room turn into rainbows as loud cheers fill the tiny room. her lips curving at the sight unknowingly.

"oh!" the boy glances at the quiet girl, "this is taehyung and hoseok hyung, my pals back in seoul." she greets them with a warm smile. noticing her presence, the two eye her with a glint of pure curiosity.

"hyungs, this is nari."

they exchange greetings and smiles, and what used to be unfamiliar faces were unfamiliar no more.

"go take a seat, i'll get you two a coffee." the young boy pushes them to a small table by the windows, "wait here!"

the pair take a seat without uttering a word and watch their friend hop off into the station. all they could do was giggle.

and so the pair wait. they look at each other, sharing a knowing gaze. "look," taehyung mutters. both eyes follow their old friend by the counter, who wore a joyful grin.

it seemed like he was struggling with the espresso machine, but still, he was laughing.

asking for a helping hand, nari comes to his assistance and a flower-like smile dances along both their lips. the pair giggle and laugh behind the counters.

taehyung and hoseok couldn't remember the last time the boy had adorned a smile that tender.

"he looks happy." the older mutters, as they watch from afar. instinctively, they too, smile.

"hyung, he is happy."
