"So..." Colby starts awkwardly as we wait in line.
"So..." I say, also! Being awkward.
"Wait.. do I follow you on Instagram?" He says taking out his phone
I shake my head "I don't think so?" Also pulling out my phone
"What's your @ ?" He asks.
I giggle "just look Up Layla. It should be one of the first ones there"
"Ok" he mumbles "tap tap tap, L-A-Y- OH! Here you are! Do do do 40 million!?!?" He yells
I burst out laughing at his baffled face.
"Y-yea" I say in between my laughs
"What's happening?" Corey asks, causing everyone's attention to shoot towards us
"Bro She has!! ——You know what! Go to her insta!" He says
They all whip out their phone's and go to Instagram
"Omg you have 40 million followers!?" "WHOA!" "THATS SO COOL!" "AMAZING!"
I'm still laughing my butt off, you should see their faces!
"Here" I say, also taking out my phone
I lift it up so everyone is on screen "SAY CHEESE!" I yell
They all look up and I snap a pic. Their faces were all weird and hilarious
*Tap*
I put my phone away.
All their phones dinged.
"You tagged us in a insta story!?" Kat yelled excitingly
"Yeah!".
"Bro I feel famous" Corey joked, I just laughed some more.
"Next!" The worker yelled
"Here me and Colby will go first" I say.
They all nod and me and Colby walk through the gate and inside the fun house
"Here I'll go this way, and you go that way" Colby says running off
"No wait!" —— he was gone "I've never been in one of these before" I said in a scared whisper
I walk around, occasionally walking into a mirror.
"Psssssst" I hear in my ear.
I whip my head sideways in fear
I-it's nothing
"Turn around" I hear another whisper.
I turn around and see the same shadow
"No" I whisper running down a different path
I still see the shadow in the mirrors. Is seems to be multiplying! Or it's just the mirrors.
Everywhere I look! I-it's just the shadow!

"No" I whisper, putting my hands to my ears, attempting to stop the voices in my head

"No" I say again, a little louder

"NO !" I yell
I squeeze my eyes shut and push on my head with my hands
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" I say in a loud whisper
No. I can't. This is your brain! Telling you the truth
"No it's not!"

"No! It's! Not!"
Yes it is... everyone thinks it. Their scared of you. Their only with you so that when you become what they know you will, they can destroy you
I open my eyes slowly... the shadows gone
"Yes they are" I say to myself. Giving in to the voice inside my head
I take one last turn and make it out. I see Colby there waiting for me
"Hey Layla! What took you so long?" He asked
I shrug "went the wrong way" I say, with a frown on my face
"Aww well it's ok" he says, like it's no big deal
Everyone eventually made it through the maze and we were all taking some pictured around the place.
"Hey y'all ready to go? It's getting pretty late" I say, pretending to yawn
They all nod "yeah ok, let's go then" Kat says
They all decided to hang out at my place. Great..

Everyone was talking about random stuff. While I just stayed quiet and kept to myself. Not wanting to really interact with anyone
"Hey you good?" Colby asks, nudging my arm
I put on a fake smile and nod "uh yeah" I look away
"I know your lying. What's wrong?"
"Nothing... just leave it alone" I say sternly. Hoping he would listen
"Hey what's wrong???" He repeats, trying to get an answer out of me
"I said leave it alone!" I yell a little louder
"No not until you answer me!"
I stand up and put my hands to my head, There's a strong ringing in my ears, and it's getting louder.
The room goes silent.
"Now I'm gonna ask you again. What's wrong?" He says also standing up
"Nothing!" I yell
"What's wrong!?"
"Nothing!" The ringing is getting unbearable!
I put my hands in a fist and put them to my head, trying to bear the pain
"There's obviously something wrong so I want to know what it is!?" Hey yells
"Stop yelling" I whisper, I can barely hear myself because of the ringing
There you go. Let the anger take over
"No! Stop" I say in almost a whisper
"Layla!" Colby yells
You! Made him angry. You're causing this. Your being what you are!
"NO!" I yell
Colby grabs onto my arm
"GET OFF OF ME!!!!" I yell
I raise my hand and a strong force is released.
Colby is flown a few feet away and onto the floor
The ringings gone...

"Layla?" Colby whispers, struggling to stand back up
"What have I d-done..." I mumble
I look over at the others and their all at the edge of their seat. I take a small step forward, they all back away.
Their afraid of me...
I step back a few steps
"I'm sorry" I whisper.. before turning, and taking flight out the balcony.
