There you were, resting in your island shack, when your ears were suddenly tickled by some unexpected noises outside. With your good arm you rubbed your eyes with your hand, careful to not mess up your bandages too much.

Listening harder to the noise, you recognized them as voices, but it was more than just Harun and Zarah's— way more. You were suddenly on edge, worrying about Zarah and how she would react, and especially what they wanted exactly.

Who are they? What should I do?

Your scrambled thoughts only made you more discombobulated. But then, you heard the door to your little shack creak open. You darted your eyes over, not wanting to arch your neck, and you squint from the sunshine seeping in through the opening. There you saw a familiar yet unexpected figure standing in the light.

"Y/N?" a feminine voice questioned as they approached.

"Huh?" your eyes adjusted again when the door shut, finally revealing who had entered "Yamraiha?"

"Hey hey, no need to get up!" she quickly went to your bedside, sliding to her knees.

You instinctively were trying to adjust yourself on your cot to try to be more presentable, but then you remembered the situation you were in, and listened to her worried instructions.

"I wasn't expecting you to be here, but I'm glad you are!" you give a chuckle, shutting your tired eyes as you speak.

"I can say the same," Yamraiha nodded, rifling through her shoulder bag "Your Djinn told me about your injuries; mind if I take a look?"

"Please do," you braced yourself for the slight pain you might have felt upon her touching your wounds.

As she removed your bandages you mind the stinging, and were still overwhelmed with surprise and glee to see an old friend of yours just show up on the island.

What are even the odds of this? Yamraiha sailing here in my time of need? Unless...

You dig through your mind, processing what or who else could be behind that door.

Sinbad? Did he come looking for me?

Your heart began to quicken at the thought of seeing Sinbad, but that feeling was short lived, for you had nearly forgotten the last words you said to him, and the reason why you weren't back in Sindria at that very moment.

Right....

Your shoulders loosened, and you felt a wave of anxiety wash over you.

When Yamraiha was done tending to you injuries, her face seemed to be a little crestfallen "I can't sugarcoat it, your cuts are pretty deep. I'm actually surprised they're still not bleeding. How did you get these injuries?"

"Oh, I- uh...," you thought about how bad you were at adlibing "I accidentally fell out of a tree. It was tall and I was carless. Just lost my footing is all!"

"...Uh huh?" Yamraiha didn't buy it, but let it slide "Well, drink this".

She had been mixing a concoction of powders into a small, wooden cup, only for her to then hand it to you.
