Sinbad looked down at little Zarah with concern plastered acrossed his face "Zarah, could you just tell us what it is? Sinbad glanced away nervously "There's no need for us to leave the beach to blindly follow you elsewhere".

"Hold on," Yamraiha stepped in "if the girl has some sort of place that can tell us something about Y/N's condition, I say we hear her out".

"But Yamraiha," Sinbad stepped closer to Yamraiha and spoke in a hushed voice "after what Harun said, I'm now worried Zarah could, at a mere scrape of the knee, go ballistic. We can't risk anyone else getting hurt like that".

"There is a place in the forest with supplies," Zarah made her voice louder to show her seriousness "Supplies from wizards that once resided here".

Everyone by the fire perked their ears up, fully attentive to Zarah's reveal.

"Why don't you just give us directions then?" Sinbad suggested "You can stay by Y/N's shack, and us adults and go and look on your orders".

"Directions?" Zarah squinted.

"You know: North, South, East, West? Or maybe, turn right at the big tree? If you hit the red bush you've gone too far?" Sinbad shrugged.

Zarah's facial expression distorted, expressing her confusion from Sinbad's suggestion.

"We're going with her," Yamraiha cut in.

"Yamraiha, I'm not so sure-" Sinbad locked eyes with her.

"Obviously not everyone will be going. I don't even think Hinahoho or Dracon can fit their shoulders between the dense trees".

Dracon and Hinahoho looked at eachother and analyzed one another up and down. They both shrugged, nodding in agreement.

"I say we take the two of us, along with Aladdin," Yamraiha stated, looking at Sinbad.

"If Aladdin's going, can Morgiana and I come along too?" Alibaba jumped forward, a hand raised.

Sinbad sighed, a worried look on his face "I suppose. But no taking risks! We all need to be safe in there, so there can not even be a slight injury whatsoever, like a cut on a thorn, or something".

"Ofcourse," Morgiana bowed her head affirmingly.

"Zarah, you may lead us to the location in the morning," Sinbad looked down at the girl who stood there biting her lip "We all need to rest up before then".

---

The morning had come and Zarah did as she promised: She escorted Sinbad, Yamraiha, Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgiana into the dense jungle. Eventually, she lead them right into the area with ruined buildings and demolished foundations.

"So there was some civilization here at some point," Alibaba noted.

"It looks more like rubble to me...," Sinbad looked around with disdain.

"Yeah, there's not much left," Yamraiha looked confused, biting her thumb "Zarah, is there something we're missing?"

"Uhm, yeah? Just keep following me, okay?" Zarah had attitude in her voice, and she even rolled her eyes at them.

Yamraiha was taken aback by her sudden sass, but the rest of the group couldn't help but chuckle from behind.

Zarah jumped into an opened basement that was exposed to the light from a collapsed first level floor. She made the roots that were covering the stone flooring below get out of her way, and dust began to plume outward and around her. She coughed as the dirty air got in her lungs, but she fanned the rest away until the dirt settled down. Soon the five others made their way into the basement foundation as well, witnessing first hand of Zarah revealing a wooden trap door that was hidden before.

"Intriguing," Alibaba was impressed by the findings, stroking his chin.

With a clunking sound, Zarah lazily opened the door and let the lid flop on the ground beside her. In the newly exposed shaft was a ladder going down into a dark, musty hole.

"That's a bit nerve wracking, I might say," Yamraiha said as a gut reaction.

"It is quite dark," Alibaba agreed.

Zarah, without hesitation, began making her way down the ladder while the rest contimplated the situation.

"Come on, we're nearly there!" Zarah shouted, losing her patience.

So they followed, eventually noticing that the hold they were voluntarily climbing down wasn't completely pitch black at all; it actually had a slight, green glow.

One by one, each person made their way to the— presumed— sub basement, and what they saw they couldn't have been expecting.

The lower level was lined with gray brick floors and walks, but smack dab in the middle of the expansive room was a cluster of tangled roots, and the cracks inbetween the bark was the source of the enchanting green glow.

"What in the world..." Yamraiha's breath was taken away by the magical sight.

"The Rulh is everywhere!" Announced Aladdin, noting a thing only him and Zarah could see.

"What is this? How is this happening?" Sinbad questioned, stepping forward and reaching for a root itself.

"Uhm, guys, it's just the green tree," Zarah clarified "what I wanted to show you is actually over here".

Zarah made her way to a corner of the room past the roots to a old looking bookself. She reached on her tip toes and pulled down this thick, big, black leather book. She struggled to carry it as she walked it over to Yamraiha.

"What's this?" Yamraiha gladly took the aged piece if literature and wiped the dust off the cover.

"This book was one I was to never speak of out of this room," Zarah said almost cryptic way.

Yamraiha opened the table of contents, and her eyes widened "Th-this is-" she looked, eyes darting at Zarah in shock "this is a book of forbidden magic".

Zarah nodded.

"Forbidden?" Morgiana asked as she leaned on a glowing root.

"Yes," Yamraiha nodded, hesitantly turning the pages in the book while bring her hand to her lips out of pure anxiety "they are spells no longer taught— and with good reason!"

"Although that book might have something interesting," Sinbad interjected "I think us knowing about this tree is going at help as well. I don't think it's any old coincidence that Y/N was afflicted with a green glow after being struck by a vine on an island with this on it".

"That is a very good point," Yamraiha closed the book, beginning to look the roots sticking out of the cracked ceiling a little more closely "I think we should head out. I'm going to do some research and we can come back here if need be".

"Sounds like a plan. It looks like this room is pretty much picked clean anyway," Sinbad agreed.

Looking around, the room was mostly empty, dusty bookselves, tables that were being eaten away by time, and a tall, busted cage laying on the floor.

Everyone went back up the ladder, not knowing what was waiting in store for them next.
