Taylor's POV
"Billie honey it's time for your announcement!" I heard Maggie's voice call out from the sliding door
I pulled away from Billie quickly but luckily it was way too dark out here for her to see what was going on
"Uh- yeah sorry be right there!" Billie called back without breaking eye contact with me. A cheeky smirk began to pinch at her lips. Ugh I could get used to that.
"Do you think she saw?" I whispered to her
"Nah. We're good" she said smugly as she squeezed my hand "maybe we shouldn't tell her  anything just yet though"
I nodded in agreement
Suddenly the balcony light flashed on blinding us both
"Oh Taylor honey I didn't see you there! Come inside!" She waved at the both of us to come back into the massive apartment.
Billie and I smirked at each other as we began to make our way back inside.
"Billie wait" I said quickly as I stopped her just before we reached the door.
I pulled her in for one quick but sweet kiss and smiled at her "okay we can go in now" I said smugly.
We walked inside where people had began to gather in the living room
I smiled to myself and plopped myself onto one of the sofas and watched Billie make her way to the centre of the room.
I scanned the room searching for Brooke. She was seated comfortably beside Finneas and seemed to be deep in conversation with him. I smiled at them as she looked up meeting my eyes and shot me a teeth grin. Finneas followed her eyes and nodded in my direction smiling also. I had to admit, they looked kinda cute together

"Ay yo!" I heard Billie shout above the chatter of her guests "I just wanted to give a shout out real quick to all y'all for being here and celebrating my 18th Birthday with me! Also, Mom, thanks for planning this awesome party!"
Everyone clapped and cheered and there was a few loud whistles that joined in on the noise.
"Ummm.... thanks to my Bro for being on this incredible musical journey with me! This shit is just unbelievable man and we're so so so blessed to be able to make music do what we love every day!" She added and shot a finger gun to her brother who accepted it shooting a finger gun back at Billie.
"Lastly, we're so stoked to be going on tour again in just a few days so Thankyou to everyone who made that happen for us! And Thankyou to some pretty special people who will be taking care of us and supporting us over the next two months" she grinned, winking at me now and heads began to turn as eyes fell onto me. I felt my face flush red and smiled as I buried my face in my hands
Everyone erupted in applause as Billie stepped down from the floor.
She made her way over to me and plonked herself beside me on the couch with an over dramatic sigh.
"You're quite the public speaker miss eilish" I stared with a smirk
"Meh. Had loads of practice" she poked her tongue at me and sank into my side letting out a big yawn
"You tired?" I said quietly
"Mmmm" she mumbled, her eyes dropping slightly
"I can take you home if you like?" I suggested
"Mmmm Nah... Mom will probably invite people over once the party dies down here and it'll be too loud" she shrugged yawning again
"We can go to mine and watch a movie or just sleep?" I added casually
She smiled and nodded
"I'll go get Brooke and see if she's ready to leave" I said as I got up about to head over to where Brooke and Finneas were seated. Billie grabbed my arm stopping me
"Nah leave them. They look happy" she smiled sweetly at her brother and then looked back at me. "Let me just say goodbye to some people and tell Mom I'm heading to yours and I'll meet you out the front?"
I nodded in agreement with a smile and began to make my way towards the elevator as Billie made her rounds saying goodbye and hugging her guests.

I stood on the curb waiting for Billie and called an Uber for us.
"Hey mamas" I heard a familiar voice from behind me say smoothly
I turned on my heels toward her as she closed the space between us. She snaked her arms around my waist as she nestled into my side. Tonight was much colder than what it had been lately, and definitely a lot colder than it normally was in LA. I regretted not having at least a hoodie with me as we stood on the curb waiting for our ride. Luckily it was rarely ever cold enough for snow here.
"You're shivering" Billie said as she pressed herself against me in attempt to warm me up
"I'm fine" I replied stubbornly trying not to let my teeth chatter
She pulled away and began to take her hoodie off
"N-no it's okay I'm not that cold. You'll freeze!" I protested, my teeth chattering completely giving me away now.
"Baby it's fine, I have a long sleeve on" she chuckled handing me her hoodie
I believed her as she stood there seeming unfazed despite the cold breeze. I threw her hoodie on and wrapped my arms around her again, this time she had her back pressed against my chest.
Our Uber finally arrived as it pulled up against the curb and we both hopped in without hesitation
The drive to my house was short and we arrived before we knew it.
I showed Billie to the bathroom so that she could shower and get more comfortable. I left out a pair of sweats and a baggy T-shirt for her and laid them out neatly on my bed.
I removed my clothes quickly, folding billies hoodie neatly and placing it on my shelf beside the Gucci hoodie she'd left me a month earlier, and threw on a pair of sweats and a new sports bra. I hated wearing shirts to bed so hopefully Billie doesn't mind if I wear just this.
I brushed through my hair roughly and used a wet nap to wipe the makeup off my face. Much better

I sat on the end of my bed and pulled out my phone, opening up the Instagram app. Billie had liked my most recent photo and commented

I giggled at the caption and double tapped.
I made my way to the kitchen, opting to give Billie some privacy to get dressed in my room and went to go pour us both a glass of water.
I returned to my room just as Billie had finished dressing herself. She looked cute in my clothes. She froze as I walked in and stared at my shirtless torso.
"Wanna watch a movie or something or are you too tired?" I spoke softly breaking the silence as I placed the glasses of water on the nightstand
"Mmm I'm kinda tired" she yawned blinking sleepily and climbing into bed.
"Me too" I yawned too throwing my pillow on the floor and grabbing a blanket off of the end of the bed and placing it on the floor. I then turned the light off
"What are you doing?" She said looking at me in the dark with a confused look on her face
"Oh. Um... sleeping on the floor I guess. I didn't want to assume you'd want to share the bed" I stammered awkwardly
"Babe get your booty up here" she patted the bed "it's fuckin cold and I want cuddles" she pouted
"Oh so now you're cold" I laughed and rolled my eyes, climbing into bed with her. She pouted again and repositioned herself so that she was laying on my chest, with one leg hitched over my hips.
"Mmm much better" She hummed as she nestled her face into my neck
I placed my arm gently around the small of her back and rested my hand on her side. I felt her sigh into me as she allowed her body to relax further into me.
"This is nice" I whispered, sleepy now
"Mmmmhmmm" She hummed groggily
"Goodnight beautiful" I said placing a soft kiss on her forehead
"Goodnight, my love" she mumbled softly as she drifted off to sleep
