Tori's P.O.V

I've been looking at the door for the last 10 minutes, waiting for Nathan. I was about to give up the staring contest with the door when suddenly I hear a few knocks.

Almost making myself dizzy from standing up too fast, I walk to the door and open it, to be greeted by the heavenly pair of green eyes.

"Hey Tori." He smiles, which was a bit less enthusiastic than usual.

"Hey, come in." I let him in and he sits on the couch.

"Why'd you make me come here?" Nathan asks.

"You were sad, I can't stand sad people." I say, walking to the couch and sitting on it.

"Makes you want to plug out your own eyesballs?" He jokes.

"Weirdly enough, yes it does." I play along.

"Same." We laugh at the lame joke we just made.

Nathan stands up and roams around the room, touching almost everything. He takes in eveything carefully, as if he's memorizing it.

That's when his eyes finally found the treasure of the house. My dad's retro vinyl player, and his face looks like the reaction you'd give to Elvis Presley or Beyoncé.

"Wha- what is this?" He questions me, his eyes almost popping out of his skull.

"My dad's vinyl player thingy." I shrug, like it's no big deal.

"OH MY-" He almost starts to freak out, "Uhhhh- I mean- do you have any vinyls laying around? Maybe we can play one or two." He tries his best to act cool.

"Yeah," I chuckle at his behavior,"We have a few."

I walk up to a drawer, with three portions, each filled with lots of old and new vinyls.

"A FEW? WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?"

"Deep breaths." I try to stifle my laugh.

"Can I play one?" Nathan gives me puppy eyes.

"You can play as many as you want."

He sits down on the ground, in front of the drawers. Looking at each vinyl very carefully, almost like they would break if he puts too much pressure.

"What about your parents? Aren't they coming home?" He asks, not looking away.

"Business trip, they'd be gone for a few days." I inform him.

"Now that I think about it, most of your parents are almost never home." I think by 'your' he meant my friends.

"Well Harp's parents are never home, they do international business stuff, as you know they are a little too rich. My parents also work with Harper's parents sometimes. That's how we got to know eachother actually. Our parent's were already friends so we know eachother since childhood. Fred's parents are normally home if they are not visiting his older brothe. Alex's mother is always home and his father works out." I explain.

"That explains why you hangout at Harp's most of the time."

"We made a hangout room for crying out loud." I chuckle and he gives a small laugh.

"Would you mind if I take a picture of all these?" He asks, again giving me his puppy eyes. Not that he needed them in the first place.

"I don't mind." I say, before standing up and going inside the kithen to get a coke and fanta.
